Geek Fights

It's another bonus episode, and once again it's a Geek Fights/Souless Minions of Orthodoxy commentary, and once again it's a Star Trek movie. This time it's Star Trek 2, but with a twist! This is a nitpicker commentary, where we take one of the most revered, most acclaimed, most important movies in all geekdom, and we rip it apart (lovingly). Listen to Damon Shaw, Mike Ortiz and Josh Bradley as they point every inconsistency, contrivance, plot hole and just plain strange idea.

But we really do love this movie. Really. It's great stuff, despite what we say about it.

All good things must come to an end. We aren't ending (we aren't a good thing) but we talk about them. Join Damon Shaw, Mike Ortiz, Jerad Formby, Pete Lucas and Yoseif Bloch as they look at the BEST END. How do the various goodbyes, farewells, aur revoirs and finales stack up? listen and find out.

Because Christy asked for it...Michael saw Madagascar 3! There are spoilers ahead so strap in and enjoy the tones of Evil Mike!

Michael has come out of his several day retirement to review Prometheus! Caution there are slight SPOILERS in this review!

Look, up in the sky! It's a bird, It's a plane, It's a bonus episode! This time it's one from the vaults, as Damon Shaw and Mike Ortiz give us their thoughts on Smallville season 1. This was recorded last year and never released. But we want to give you tons of extra content as we approach our 2 year anniversary. So we dusted it off and here you go. We watched the entire season, and talk about each episode and rate them. It's something a little different, we hope you enjoy it!

Yeah this has got to be our strangest topic ever. 32 Mike or Michaels, with 4 on the panel. Damon (Mike) Shaw, Mike Ortiz, Michael Felsher, Mike Diskin and Mike Patanjo discuss the BEST MIKE (OR MICHAEL). Who came up with this? Seriously has anyone ever had this discussion. Has anyone ever asked "Hmm I wonder who the best guy named Mike is?" Do you realize it's consistently one of the top male names in the U.S. It was number one from 1961 to 1998. then it dropped to number 2 from 1999 to 2008 after Jacob. It dropped out of the top 5 only in 2012 for the first time since 1948. It's a common name so it's no wonder there are a lot on our show, and a lot in popular culture. A lot more than Jayden will be, or Noah, seriously how did they bump Michael out of the top 5. Parents are stupid these days.
