Geek Steep

One of the most beloved anime of all time is on the docket on today's episode, and did it fair?

Saga is simply amazing, difficult, beautiful, and a must read, and this week we discuss why some things that are difficult to discuss should still be discussed anyway.

Whimsy is the name of the game this week! We delight in discussing dessert teas by Almost Tea, why childhood trauma isn't always that bad and learning more about the fantastical world that is Studio Ghibli!

Kelly's Tea Trip to Vancouver, Westholme tea garden visit, Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse... we had the best conversation in this episode!

Oh yeah, and then we watched the utterly whelming Fantastic Four.

This week we unpack one of the most influential sci fi movies of all time. What's more than that to say? it's your choice to join us, so... red pill or blue?

This week we check in with the DC Universe to see if they can finally get something right!

Our first foray into Canadian folk music! Andy Shauf's The Neon Skyline is an amazing listen, and we dive deep into the narrative of a long night out on the town with old friends, exes, acquaintances and new discoveries.

Sports anime! Yeah!! I mean, we tried, and there is quite a lot to unpack. This non fantasy, teenage driven sports tale is widely popular in Japan...will it be popular with the Geek Steepers?

Today we explore our favourite Disney animated songs, pairing each with a tea. We laugh, we cry, we get mad and go back to being happy all over again.
