This is Bags of Action. The podcast devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them are awesome! In this episode, the third part of our trilogy of action films starring Denzel Washington, Pete and Steve discuss 2 Guns from 2013. This is a brand new film adapted from a comic book series released a few years earlier. It's an action comedy with two big names in the lead roles and many others in the supporting cast.

Happy New Year! Dissecting Worlds is back for a short incision into Star Wars' latest installment, Rogue One. What does this tell us about the state of the Rebellion and the Galactic Empire in the run up to the events of A New Hope? How are they arranged, what are they up to, and what light does this shed on what we already thought we knew?

A shorter, more focused episode, we hope that this could be the first of more similarly tight episodes to fit around the main series eps, so if you like it, and want to hear more of them, please let us know!

Feedback, as usual to the Facebook Group (www.facebook.com/dissectingworlds), Twitter (@dissectingwrlds) or email to [email protected]

It's slow news January but Steve has some information on interesting shows just over the horizon. Then, in anticipation of Twin Peaks season 3 coming to TV a mere 25 years after the show first ended Scott and Steve take a look back at the fantastical weirdness that had everyone talking in the early 90s.

WARNING: CONTAINS NOSTALGIA

Join The Next Level for a festive themed episode as we talk about Christmas. Christmas games, add-ons and indeed gaming at Christmas and over the New Year. Amy and James join Ant this time to delve into their memories and dig through the snow to find those Christmas delights. Should there be more games with Santa as a hero?

Welcome to Grouchy Old Geeks, a monthly podcast that discusses everything and anything in geek news, from the Statler and Waldorf of British podcasts hosts. Previously GoG was called Comic Book Outsiders, and we've been podcasting for 9 years. We decided a rebrand and refresh was in order to reflect how the show has changed over the years.

This month, our last episode of the year, is a review of the last 12 months where we both select our top 3 favourite films, TV shows and there are also plenty of honourable mentions. We kick off with some news and reviews as usual, although this month it seems to be a little dry.

If you would like to get in touch with the show you can email us at [email protected], you can find our Facebook page at www.grouchyoldgeeks.com or you can follow us on Twitter @SteveAryan and @ScottGrandison

So we are nearly at the end of 2016 (thank god) but Monts and Nuge still have a little time left to squeeze in some more sass.
