The Geek Patrol may be a bit divided over his past performance, however, they all agree that the new movie will have a very interesting twist.

The gang compares the movie theater experience to what you get attending a live event. They each offer something different, but exactly what?

Joe, Brandon, Alissa, And Allan all follow Max in saluting the anniversary of the publican of Dracula. Dracula has proven to be a mainstay of classic literature that remains a mainstay of popular culture. Brandon had a good time with The Fall Guy, a lot of stunts that need plenty of popcorn. However, it does bring up the topic of falling attendance numbers at movie theaters. Are tech changes fading out the movie theaters?

Joe and Allan start off with Happy Birthday wished for none other than George Lucas complete with a quick salute to his many contributions. Then, the industry has lost a legend, Roger Corman. Best know for his many movies shot fast and cheap, he also help launched the careers of many of Hollywood's elite. He was truly an original and will be deeply missed. They wrap up with the fate of the famous video portal between New York and Dublin.

Allan, Brandon, Alissa, and Christy start off with the rare sighting of the Northern Lights in the Mid-South. It was an amazing event if you got to see it. Then, the Geek Patrol welcomes Sarah Insch from the Humanities Department of the Memphis Public Library to talk about their upcoming ComicCon event on May 18th. This Memphis Public Library event will feature everything from vendors and artists to panels, arts and crafts, face painting, and a trivia contest. Legendary comic creators Matt Wagner and Gene Ha are the featured celebrity guests.

Brandon, Joe, Alissa, and Allan take a trip back to the "good old days" of the comic book industry. So much has changed in the last years and not much of it has been for the better. Max jumps and in and wraps up the show with the origin of SPAM electronic messages. Doesn't look like it is going away anytime soon.
