Today, in our own special way, we say goodbye to Chris and Red. Both have left the show for various reason. We wish them the best and success in their new ventures. Now, it’s just Ricky and Duke… with Brandon!!!!! That’s right we have a legit male model on our show!!! He knows a lot out about pop culture though when you stop and ask him, he’ll be all bashful and say he doesn’t! That’s okay we don’t want him getting a big head. We’re also going to working on getting a live twitch stream for show, so be looking forward to that. A lot more changes are coming, slowly but surely, we’re still new to this and we’re trying out a lot of new equipment and ideas. In part 2 of conversion with Brandon we learn a little bit more about the perks of a male model. Duke shares a story about the days when he was chillin in Cali, Cali. We reflect on the closing of Movies 8, which was a $1 movie theatre, lot of movies, lot of quarters, and lots lots of fun, will now live only in our memory. Brandon decides to go toe to toe with me on Star Wars in theorycraft, let me just spoil this part, I win, everytime. Scrubs can’t compete with me. Unless you’re from the Dark Souls subreddit then I will bow to you, because seriously those guys know how to handle their business. I have spent months reading their theories on the Dark Souls lore /respect at the level of commitment. We spend some time talking about Adam Sandler and Netflix, which threaten to divide us down the middle but the bonds of anime are strong with us and Duke didn’t get kicked off the show, thanks to anime. What happens when you place a Male Model, midst of a group of middle aged nerds? We talk comic cons, movies and video games! Brandon, decides to slum it with us while Chris is a way enjoying life. We didn’t expect Brandon to be so deep into Nerdom, looks definitely where deceiving. Brandon is a treasure trove maybe a renaissance man!!! We talk about pre ordering video games, what we like and don’t about it. We discuss that PS4 is better though sadly not for long with Scorpio coming out, but hey I’m not worried. Why? Because when the Sega Dreamcast came out it was the best console on the market at the time but in no time at it was dead and Sega quit the console race. RIP Dreamcast 1999-2001 :_( So here’s hoping that the Halo series will come to sony and save it from 343i who are wrecking the story. Gameplay has gotten better, Kudos to 343i but story has tanked AND MAYBE one day Nintendo will tank and Zelda will come to PS4 and we can finally get a Zelda + Dark Souls+Skyrim smash up.
