GEEKING OUT

Hi, Shades Here…Sketch and I are still in quarantine, social distancing under our mandalorian helmets, still doing our best to help keep you entertained, thank you for making us part of your covid-survival kit.

Personally I’m going on day 90 of isolation It is a crazy time out there, we’re all in different states depending on what state we live in and what city we live in some cases.

We’re seeing upsetting images on our screens and devices, and it’s getting increasingly hard to keep the real world out of our fake worlds. Our show is about providing you entertainment and an escape where you don’t have to think too hard, and hopefully you can laugh for a little while. We’re going to continue to try and provide that. #BlackLivesMater. If you want to help, but don't know how you can visit https://www.naacp.org/campaigns/we-are-done-dying/ to learn and take action now.

Thank you to all of those working on the front lines right now ( the essential workers, first responders). Thank you to those who are doing the very real, very important work of advancing the conversation for equality and social justice in our time all across the multiverse, whether out in the streets or providing support to those on the streets. These are important conversations. I’m personally doing what I can to listen and share.

The whole world is in crisis, if you’re feeling overwhelmed/hopeless/ or just alone know that you are not. Our support networks are more important that ever. If you feel like you don’t have one call National Suicide Prevention Lifeline @

1-800-273-8255 to talk to someone now or visit https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/

We’re taking this week off so that we can bring your our jam packed Dragon Heart Universe episode next week, but we felt like now is the perfect time to revisit the world, and message of Avatar: The Last Airbender so stay tuned for that.

Finally, I’d like to leave you with some words from the 2009 disaster/action/thriller movie 2012 spoken in a time of absolute peril by the phenomenal Chiwetel Ejiofor “ The moment we stop fighting for one another is the moment we lose our humanity.”

We're back LTL's and we're joined by friend of the Pod, host of The Hidden Histories Podcast, Tim Hoshi for this very special geek out down memory lane! Join us as we deep dive Sonic The Hedgehog's origins and revel in the joygasm that is Jim Carey's Robotnik. Sonic debuted amidst controversy. Early renders of the film's hero were a little too human...some may say frightening; nay the stuff of nightmares. Delaying release, spending an additional $5 million to right the wrongs Blur studios game us a film for the ages!
