On todays episode we discuss a Japanese horror movie released in 2019 called the Howling Village which follows the story of a young girl who starts to investigate the disappearance of her two younger brothers who go missing in a popular urban legend haunted village and what follows is a 1 hour and 48 minutes of pure horror as she uncovers a horrendous truth of her family history. I think this film is great and worth your time, especially if you are into J horror films and there is so many homages to others J horror films and video games that will keep you entertain while looking over your shoulder at night. Todays episode is on a 2003 horror film that scared the shit out of me when I was a kid and made me terrified of loosing my teeth. The film is called Darkness Falls and is about a vengeful spirit who takes on the role as the tooth fairy for this town called Darkness Falls and trust me this is one tooth fairy you don't want a visit from. The film does a lot of things well but also has a lot of early 2000 horror cliches so if your into that like I am I'm sure you will love this horror film. Now the film is a found footage film and as most found footage films claim are based on true events this one is loosely based on the brown mountain lights phenomenon and it is a trip so if you guys want to read about it I recommend you guys reading it if you have time and want to make a trip to the woods they are based on. Now this film is very straight forward and to the point but at the end of the day it has a unique take on the outbreak film genre. Now the film centers around the peculiar friendship of two Swiss children Oskar and Eli, however one of them isn't what they are meant to be and what the hell does that mean ? Hey guys welcome back to another episode of Gem Mint Horror, on this episode we discuss the 1997 film Event Horizon. Event Horizon was directed by Paul WS Anderson and has poor reviews but I believe the film is worth your time. The film is set in space and it follows a search and rescue team who are tasked with retrieving a spaceship called the event horizon that went missing seven years ago, they scan no life forms on board however they get the feeling that they are not alone. Now the film is about a rookie cop gets tasked with her first day on the job to watch over the old police station and wait for a biohazard team to clean out the evidence locker in order to shut down that station for good. However, what sounds and seems like an easy first day is far from it, something is in this police station and someone keeps calling for help. This film can be watched on amazon prime for certain channel subscribers or also for free on tubi if you guys want to watch it, if you do end up watching it tell me what you thought. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals ! Just uploading one of my favorite Christmas horror films called Black Christmas about a stalker who is stalking a sorority house but not only is he a stalker but also an unhinged person. Now this film captures both horror and the Christmas spirit so well and I recommend watching this if you guys want something new to add to your holiday movie list. I hope you guys have a great holiday and get what you asked for but remember the true spirit of Christmas and don't forget to check your attic.
