Professionally, Erik has been helping families make smart decisions with their money for over 20 years. Sandra Hunter pivoted from being an English and Creative Writing professor to starting her business, Wild Women Leaders of Color (WWLoC), helping professional women release stress caused by workplace racism and center them in their her-story to recognize their powerful place in the world. She also created The Stealth Auntie Network, part of WWLoC, that pairs professional women with young women students who are entering, or about to enter, the workplace so that the next generation is prepared for professional development and promotion. Knowing firsthand the many faces of racism both personally and professionally, Sandra has spent 25 years teaching women of color, working with underserved communities, and spent 2 years in Kenya helping to develop a language interference program for students taking national exams in their third language, and assisted with establishing women's co-ops empowering local women to have economic autonomy.

She has a long resume of speaking at conferences, moderating panels, and leading workshops.

WHO IS CINDI & CRISSY?

When they first met Crissy and Cindi quickly realized that, while they were at different stages of motherhood, they faced many of the same struggles. Both felt frustrated, lonely, overwhelmed, and exhausted. They immediately developed a strong bond and appreciated feeling understood by a fellow mom.

In addition to motherhood, Crissy and Cindi also connected over their previous careers in wellness, having served as personal trainers and health coaches. Through this past work, they had collectively spoken with hundreds of moms and recognized that the gap in care was a universal theme of the postpartum experience. They realized that countless women were navigating motherhood with an inadequate support system.

Crissy and Cindi felt driven to do something. They knew women were being underserved by the current system. Mothers were slipping between the cracks, forced to seek answers on their own and navigate a disparate system of care without access to the village of support often enjoyed by previous generations. Crissy and Cindi saw a need to provide real support for the mothers in this country and set out to build a system that would better serve them. Thus, HER Health Collective was born.
