Well, we are fresh out of 1990's years to review.  But you know...geeks are gonna geek. So we're back with new lists. We'd love to share them with you, but that would take all the fun out of the episode. 

Be there when the envelopes are opened and the secret lists revealed! Be there when we talk about [censored] and [censored]. Hilarity ensues when Kris pontificates about [censored]. 

But we like you...so here's a little hint...  There will be cauldrons and dragons. Kurgans and Gelflings. Investigative journalists and baseball players. Figure skaters and serial killers.  You won't want to miss it! 

There can be only one.  And it's us.

It's the end of the decade here at Geek Headquarters, but what a way to go! How can a year that brought us The Matrix, Fight Club (even though we can't talk about it), Office Space and The Sixth Sense also have given us Jar Jar Binks??  In this episode, we say goodbye to our favorite decade and prepare for our next adventure. Shenanigans happen. Hilarity ensues. Denzel Washington is mentioned.  What could go wrong??

1998...the year that really tied the room together. It was a year of seeing double, two Queen Elizabeths, two big asteroids, two big WW2 movies, two cool capers, two alternate realities, two times Gwyneth Paltrow was British, two first feature films from legendary directors...  But only ONE DUDE.  Will Kris sing again?  Of course she will. Will Rich actually sing? Why are we singing anyway? Will 1998 mark the triumphant return of Denzel Washington?  Spoiler alert...YES.  Tune in to hear more as we blab all about the films that made 1998 one for the history books.

Weeeee're baaaaaack.  After a seriously long intermission, your favorite Geeks are back with a vengeance recapping our favorite flicks of 1997. Will Jodie Foster or Ethan Hawke make it to space? Will Casey Affleck ever get that sandwich? Do all Rich's movies involve ice or snow? Would two people REALLY have fit on the door? Does anyone even know who Rolo Tamassi is? Lucky number 7...also known as, GenX Cinema Geeks and the Nerdy Hallows.  Or something like that.  Join the Geeks as we deconstruct yet another year of 1990s cinema...one that we both struggled with.  What's up 1996?? It was the year of breakout roles, (HELLOOOOOO Ed Norton!) and a Scottish chap and future Jedi Master.  Soundtracks for days...nay...years.........nay...DECADES.  Does adding more ellipses even count?

And after all that...we STILL don't know where Fargo takes place. We're geeks, not geographers.  But at least we're not Goofy.

After a loooong hiatus (who are we kidding? Equipment failure...) your favorite geeks are back in Episode 6 - On Her Majesty's Geeky Service. It was a year of twisty plots, phenomenal ensembles and the magical Jane Austen. Does it get much better than that?? As if.

The Gen X Cinema Geeks have been hacked! While Kris was with the away team, Rich and his Gen Z, non-movie-fan daughter took over the mic to bring you their Oscar predictions. His...based on actual knowledge.  Hers...based on the coolest names.  Will they be right? Will Kris reclaim her hosting helm? Will the Gen Z beat her dad in wins??  It's anyone's guess...
