In this episode we spoke to an amazing interfaith minister, author, and TikTok creator, Reverend Karla Kamstra. We spoke about religion and spirituality and how Gen-Z seems to identify with the term, agnostic. We also spoke about religion's, specifically Christianity's place in American history and politics. 

The takeaway from this episode is this: Religion has been proven to have both negative and positive effects on us and it is up to us to call out and end the negative culture that religions have the power to create to avoid further damage and history repeating itself.

In this episode we unpack the stigma around body image and eating disorders and their hidden yet prominent place in modern society. We discuss our personal stories, how this stigma affects Gen-Z’s Mental Health Crisis and the importance of body positivity in social media. The internal conflict that we face from this has filled us with negativity but also has empowered us to fight for societal change. The hardest part about internalized stigmas and phobias is the fight against it starts with resolving the conflicts within ourselves and our society. The stigma around  affects so many of us and it is up to ALL of us to fight it. And to all of our gen-zers, all bodies are beautiful. Say it out loud and say it again. All. Bodies. Are. Beautiful.
