Dr. Lily Filson is an international award-winning scholar that specializes in the history of art and technology. With a Bachelor’s from Tulane University, a Master’s in Italian Renaissance Art History from Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in the Philosophy of Formative Sciences from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, Italy, Dr. Filson’s research examines a fascinating and surprisingly modern area of the Renaissance: Medici automata, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic moving sculptures that seemed to come alive in elite gardens and villas. Recently, her work has shifted to look at Yemen’s rich art history in response to ongoing war.

Dr. Morgan Levy is a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, burnout, and perfectionism. As a licensed psychologist in Florida, she provides online therapy to Florida residents looking to dive deep into the root of their concerns so that they can experience long-lasting, meaningful changes. She also offers online guided experiences where she helps high achievers living anywhere in the world learn how to gain balance and clarity so that exhaustion and burnout doesn’t rule their lives.

Robert Danisch has a PhD in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh (2004) and a BA from the University of Virginia in History and Philosophy. He is currently Chair of the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Waterloo. He writes about communication, persuasion, and politics. Professor Danisch hosts a podcast called Now We’re Talking that focuses on communication skills, and he teaches courses in Leadership, Communication Ethics, Speech Writing, Persuasion, Small Group Communication, and Theories of Communication. He has also been the Director of Arts First, the Faculty of Arts program required for all first year University students that emphasizes skills in communication and analysis.

Jonathan Roberts is the Director and Co-Founder of the Ancient Language Institute, an online language school and think tank revolutionizing the way classical languages are taught. Jonathan is a native of Mexico and is natively bilingual in Spanish and English. He graduated from The King’s College in New York City with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, & Economics, and was awarded a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Missouri in 2017.

He is one of the co-organizers of the NYU Postcolonial, Race and Diaspora Studies Colloquium, co-translator of the book The Queer Intersectional in Contemporary Germany (2018) and co-editor of the anthology of American literature, Fictions of America: The Book of Firsts (2020). His writing has previously appeared or will soon appear in The Los Angeles Review of Books, the Harvard Review, Social Text, Citizenship Studies, Interventions, and the Journal of Postcolonial Writing.
