We’re entering the Inkworld this week as most of our characters are transported inside the book. Dustfinger first, then Meggie and Farid, and finally Mo, Resa, Mortola, and Basta all make it into Inkheart where chaos ensues. Unsurprisingly we respond well to burgeoning romance and tender familial relationships and respond poorly to Fenoglio’s increasingly gross behavior. The Inkworld is changing and taking on a life of its own. Too bad neither of your co-hosts cares that much. We still think that the story is missing a hook, but maybe we’re just too judgmental.

One of John Hughes’ lesser-known works, She’s Having a Baby remains a useful choice in any game of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Looking at how pregnancy changes the dynamic of a couple, is there a reason this one is the forgotten work of a highly-regarded director?

Crossover with old episodes. During '90s Trek, there was the occasional use of crossovers - the Enterprise-D goes to Deep Space Nine, Riker shows up on Voyager, Riker (Thomas) shows up on Deep Space Nine, Riker shows up on the NX-01 ... and some other non-Riker examples. Then a crossover happened that blew fans' minds - the crew of DS9 visits station K-9 and the NCC-1701 in "Trials and Tribble-ations." Now in the 21st Century, what crossovers with older episodes do we wish other series' crews could visit? Should we give the "Star Trek: Enterprise" crew their revenge, and allow them to take over another show's episode? Could the crew of the USS Discovery visit their future or past, depending on which season we use? Let us know what Trek episode should be visited by another show's characters to make it even better.

Dallas and Lee review Robert Eggers new film 'The Northman' which follows Prince Amleth who was on the verge of becoming a man when his father is brutally murdered by his uncle, who kidnaps the boy’s mother. Two decades later, Amleth is now a Viking who’s on a mission to save his mother, kill his uncle and avenge his father.

Lee welcomes actor Brittney Rodriguez who plays June in Sean Baker's Red Rocket.

Mikey Saber (Simon Rex) returns home to Texas City after 17-year absence and gets himself a gig as a dealer with a weed business run by Leondria and her daughter June who also acts as an enforcer.

Lance and Mike take a look at the third movie in the Kevin Costner Baseball Trilogy, Sam Raimi's For Love of the Game.

All parties converge on Capricorn’s village as he prepares his plan for the Shadow to execute Dustfinger once and for all. Meanwhile Fenoglio and Meggie have a plan of their own to circumvent this outcome. We discuss Meggie’s mom, and meet her, in what we think is probably the most interesting part of the book. Paramount Plus released the newest update to the first ever Trek film this year, so Drew Stewart (@StarTrekVisComp) joins the trio to share the history of the troubled film and its history (and need) for updating. What's changed along the years? How many editions are there? Is it finally "fixed"? Will previous critics of the film find something new in this release?
