In the UK cinemas have begun to return and Dallas and Lee share their experiences returning to the big screen and what they've watched.

This week, we finish the plot of the Twilight Saga. This episode and reading really tie the whole series together into one neat ending. We get to enjoy Bella as a vampire and Edward’s equal. We get her whole family: Charlie, the wolves, and the Cullens. We also harken back to previous books with more of the Volturi and more of the vampire world-building. This was probably our favorite Twilight Saga reading, so we’re really glad to spend one more week with these characters next week when we cover Midnight Sun.

Next week we will be reading the entire extra book in the series, Midnight Sun.

Matthew Schott and Chris Okawa of The Adaptation Game podcast join Shawn for a viewing of Clive Barker's Hellraiser, a film neither Shawn nor Chris have ever seen. TOS "Prequels" in "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds"

Every Trek series has unique and wonderful stories. There are also many episodes that look into the vast Trek canon to delve into planets, characters, and aliens that were touched on prior. We all await the arrival of the newest series, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" - and we all want to see what prior Trek episodes come alive for Captain Pike and his Enterprise crew. Since they are the "pre-Kirk" crew (other than Mr. Spock), there are some issues for them encountering too many scenarios used in The Original Series. But that doesn't stop the trio for pitching what TOS stories could be used for their sister-23rd Century show. Which of our choices do you think is the best? And what TOS element would you like to see in SNW?

We finish our journey into Wes Anderson's works with "Isle of Dogs." A beautiful picture with great characters and several ear-to-ear grinning moments. But how does the story hold up?

It is finally time to dive into the last book of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn. This section covers Bella’s wedding, honeymoon, and scary scary pregnancy. We do finally get to get some sympathy for Jacob because we do get to hear his thoughts, but that still doesn’t make us fully like him. We get more insight into pack dynamics and a rather strange ebbing and flowing bromance between Edward and Jacob. We can also feel the tension building all the way until Bella goes into labor!

Next week we will be reading chapters 19-39 of book 4 in the series, Breaking Dawn.

Is it Really That Bad? “Spirit Folk” Edition. We’ve all thought about what we would do on the Holodeck. From adventures, fantasies, Starfleet training, and more - maybe creating a work group field trip to an Irish village might not be on the list. But the Voyager crew are all about Fair Haven. In this second episode set in this holographic get-away, the program (surprise!) goes awry and our favorite characters must deal with the repercussions. The trio look at whether they love/hate the idea of Fair Haven and how this “small stakes” episode lands in season six.
