Our mission statement at Generation Church is "helping people say yes to Jesus".  The most important thing you will ever say yes to is Jesus! Many of us are willing to say yes, but we struggle because we don't know what He's saying to us.  In week four we talk about what it looks like to say yes!  No matter Jesus is calling you to do, "Just Say Yes!"

In Matthew 10, Jesus is sending out the twelve apostles. He tells them it's not going to be easy, but don't be afraid! As followers of Jesus, we don't have to be afraid, we can cling to the unshakeable truth of what Jesus says.

Matthew 10:16-25

In Matthew 10, Jesus is sending out the twelve apostles.  He lets them know right up front this won't be easy.  They may be persecution, betrayal, even death just for following Him.  We need to understand what we are saying yes to, this may not be easy.  We have to keep our eyes on Jesus and live with an eternal perspective.

In Matthew 10, Jesus is sending out the twelve apostles.  He teaches us about something we refer to as "The Person of Peace", someone God has prepared in advance to be open to us as followers of Jesus and the message of the Gospel.

Matthew 10:1-4

In Matthew 10, Jesus is sending out the twelve apostles.  We are introduced to a group of guys who had no business being entrusted with such a valuable message.  Jesus took these unlikely heroes, raised them up, and sent them out with the message of the Gospel.  He still does that today, no matter where you've been or what you've done Jesus gives you everything you need to accomplish His mission.
