We are living in the end times. Jesus painted a very clear picture of what the world will look like before His return, and there are many signs that we are closer than any of the previous generations. God gave us signs to indicate the end is near, but this shouldn't be our main focus. Being close to Jesus' return means that we need to work even harder to spread His Word!

There's a lot to be learned from the early church, but one that is particularly applicable to us today is just how faith-filled it was. If we're not careful, we can develop an "it is what it is" attitude towards the darkness in our world, but what we see modeled in scripture is the exact opposite. Believing by faith in an all powerful God allows us to see things not for what they are but what they can be.

We’re SO glad to be saved, but what exactly are we saved from? HELL. Hell isn’t a popular topic today, but it’s discussed 167 times in the Bible! We need to understand how bad hell is to understand how good God is.

Most Christians have concerns about Heaven: What will we be like? Will I know what's happening on Earth? Will we be bored? Will we still be married or have a purpose? It's completely normal to have concerns about Heaven - we're trying to understand things based on our own ability, and we can't understand something so perfect! It's understandable to fear something you can't comprehend, but when you trust God and His goodness, you look forward to joining Him in Heaven.

Almost a year ago, Pastor Ryan announced Chosen - Foster and Adopt as a new ministry at Generation Church. There is a huge need to help, serve, and show foster kids the love of Jesus in our communities. James 1:27 says, "Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you." Because orphans have a special place in the God's heart, they to have a special place in our hearts too. As children of God, we are called to make a difference, and Chosen exists to help you do just that.

So many of us spend a majority of our lives working -- and for good reason! We all need a way to finically support ourselves. We work hard for our money, but so many of us are still losing out on the opportunity to have and give EVEN more! If you have to work anyway, it makes sense you’d take advantage of God’s supernatural power and multiply the fruit of your labor.

Feeling emotional isn't bad, it doesn't make you weak or mean that you're an irrational person, but our emotions can get the best of us and lead us to do and say things that aren't healthy for us. Did you know that God WANTS you to be happy? We all search for happiness but few find it, and most likely it's because we are looking in the wrong places.

Regret can be one of the most negative emotional conditions for the human heart. We all have regrets, no matter how big or small we can't change the things we regret. Through the grace of God, we are able to work past our regrets and replace them vision. Forget what's behind, focus on what's ahead.

Sadness is very personal and, as a result, inherently isolating, but God is close to the brokenhearted! There are many ways to deal with sadness, but in order to deal with it, you have to share it.

A lot of us struggle with frustration, irritation, or maybe you’re living in a constant state of anger. It's not always bad to feel angry, but it is BAD FOR YOU to stay angry.
