In Newsworthy - Rob gave a local update for Poughkeepsie New York on their Flock Camera policy. Good stuff. Then he covered the air traffic as it pertained to the 2026 United Nations General Assembly.
OSTOTW is one created by U2 under the name Passengers - Original Soundtracks 1.
Thanks for listening / reading, folks!

In newsworth: KelZ continues her cetacean murderfest frustrations, this time it’s not Japan and Taiji but Iceland, Kristján Loftsson, The Bandero and The Captain Paul Watson Foundation.
We had a mailbag response for the first time. Thanks to listener for their question!!! As promised here is the link to the doc with the details found on possible deep freeze weaponry.
In Tech Rob is demanding proof of AI. KelZ talks about the hoopla around Jacob Coxon’s resignation and how that is FAR from new news. She also mentions Hunter Biden’s post about targeted AI impacting elections. Tip: It is happening.

In most newsworthy Rob and Kym talk about the 25th Anniversary of the 9/11 event. KelZ also talks about the Taiji cetacean killfest.
For cleansing KelZ gives an update on Tripp part 2. (As a clarification, liking my cloned voice doesn’t mean I like my voice. It means the cloned version sounds great!) Rob gets a shower chair to mitigate pain.
OSTOTW is the Sopranos season 1 & 2
We had some technical difficulties this week so you may find the overall volume low and somewhat inconsistent. Sorry about that.
In Tech: Rob talked about storage space versus efficiency. KelZ revisited the topic of smart glasses. Of particular interest is META bricking their glasses when it was detected people were covering the recording indicator light. Was that really appropriate? Your thoughts?
In Music: Rob talked about Alabama Shakes and especially Brittany Howard. He also talked about singer Cassandra Fowlkes Wilson. RIP Cassandra. Both great. Check ‘em out. KelZ talked about nature’s music miracle: Jurassic Insects.

In most newsworthy of the week: KelZ lamented the destruction of the Weeping Willow trees at the JFK Performing Arts Center in DC as well as the 60 (so far) cherry trees in Potomac Park. OSTOTW: Peter Gabriel’s The Last Temptation of Christ (1989).
We had to delay our podding due to personal stuff. Better late than never.
In the tech category, this week we discuss IBM Fridges that are 200x colder deep space! Read more about them here: https://www.msn.com/en-us/technology/hardware-and-devices/ibm-s-new-quantum-fridges-are-nearly-200-times-colder-than-deep-space/ar-AA2auS5s And we also get into Biocomputing. Is it a good thing? Ethical? Here’s a YouTube vid to pique your interest.
In music Rob goes back in history to the mega-concert you never heard of: The Summer Jam 1973. KelZ talks about EMDR music. You can listen to what she specifically refers to here: EMDR music (this is not to be confused with EDM but we do briefly revisit Deadmau5).
In newsworthy, Rob talks about the USS Lincoln but not in a political way. This gets KelZ off on a tangent regarding the Vietnam “military action”. Her news topic is the invasion of lantern flies in Poughkeepsie.
The cleansing moments aren’t usually mentioned in these show notes but this week is the memorable milestone pertaining to Rob’s ordeal about selling his mom’s house and KelZ bitches about how loud it was in the theater when she saw The Odyssey.

There is an opening advisory regarding Social Security. In less than seven years SS will be cut 22% unless something is done to stop it. If you’re living on social security, and a huge percentage of Generation Jones people are, you should review your options. My choice is to end the cap. It’s time for those making over $185,000 per year to keep paying no matter what their income is.
In tech: KelZ talks about how Altman and Muskrat believe we’re already in the singularity. Jeffrey Hinton expressed great concern last week at the AI4 Conference in Las Vegas.
