Generation Kids Daily Devo

This week is all about WISDOM, and today's episode shows us how wisdom looks a lot like learning from our mistakes to make better choices in the future. We learn about how the life Jesus promises to us when we trust in Him, is more fulfilling and joy-filled than a life lived on our own terms. Wisdom looks like trusting in Jesus' Word, and building our lives upon the ROCK!

Our passage today is: Matthew 7:24

This week is all about WISDOM, and today's episode is about the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom. We don't fear God in a scary way, but we think about Him and approach Him with awe and reverence for the power He has, and the greatness of who He is. When we understand God rightly, it will affect everything about how we live our lives!

This week is all about WISDOM, and today's episode is about how important it is to learn from the ups AND downs of our lives. Also, our ability to learn from the failures and successes of *others'* can be just useful. Our lives, and the lessons we learn, are gifts to each other if we allow them to be!

This week is all about WONDER, and today's episode is about how we can confidently approach God with our curiosities and insecurities about our lives. Our confidence in His ultimate victory enables us to shine with the light of assurance, even when life gets tough. Because in the end, we know He wins and we're on His team.

This week is all about WONDER, and today's episode is about how we wind up seeing the things we're looking for... and when we believe what God tells us - that He is there all around us, ready to be seen and engaged with - and when we live as though we expect to see Him, we will!

This week is all about WONDER, and today's episode is about how BIG God's creation is... and how small we are... but our passage shows us that when we lean in to our neediness and smallness, God is BIG for us... and He is glorified when we see that He is for us, what we can't be for ourselves!

This week is all about WONDER, and today's episode is about how incredible God is as our Creator. He made our bodies to be able to sustain themselves while we go about the business of living our lives. He made us in His image and unique all at once... to show the world His creativity, and to show us His thoughtfulness in making us all individually and wonder-fully.

This week is all about WONDER, and today's episode is about having the confidence to "ask" questions about God and to God. He wants us to engage with Him and come to Him confidently that He has answers.
