Generation X-Men

Oh boy talk about your episode's with a history. No Mutant is an Island is a troubled episode of X-Men: The Animated Series infamous for it's let's say.... unique animation style haha and it's delayed 2 year release date which put it's completely out of sync with the rest of the season but we're reviewing it in original script order for all of you to enjoy. Cyclops finds himself outta the X-Men having lost faith in losing Jean to the Phoenix. What's really neat about this episode is that it's one of few where there are 2 versions available to different locations; the unaltered "bad" version on Hulu and the revised "bad" version of it for home release. Makes it an interesting watch for all the wrong reasons because the revised version is just as goofy.ALSO Marvel Movie News returns with Avengers Endgame, Captain Marvel superbowl breakdowns PLUS Dark Phoenix Reshoot dramas.- Bender

"Hahahahaha...ahh hehe hahahaha -- You foolish fools; your foolishness amuses me." Intergalactic philsopher - D'Ken. What a crazy episode and the classic finale of The Phoenix Saga. With the M'Kraan Crystal fractured D'Ken absorbs the power and drags everything inside. He goes full Freddy Krueger, Thanos, in this absolute classic of X-Men: The Animated series.PLUS Marvel Movie News we discuss Spider-Man: Not Far From Home/European Vaction/Euro Trip. Also my tiny and berated review of Aquaman haha. - Bender

The Starjammers my new favourite space team. You know you're getting old when you call something the wrong name and your mate doesn't even notice -- I musta called them the Spacejammers 5 times during the pod and Brooksey never said shit haha either way we both feel this episode is the first one to start feeling like "The Phoenix Saga" and there's only one left. Dunno why, must be because we're finally in space and Phoenix is doing stuff.Bit late but we discuss the 2 big trailer drops -- Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. ALSO we do another fan cast, this time of The Starjammers themselves!

Cry of the Banshee? He's barely in it? But hey I'm only allowed to title my own episodes. Got my favourite recurring character in this episode of the podcast CROWTHER. That's right he's back to talk Juggernaut -- we touch on the infamous "I'm the Juggernaut bitch" internet video and in Marvel Movie News we talk Venom's record shaking opening gross in China!- Bender

INGRATE INCOMPETENT FOOLS! Say what? There's Evil Force Ghost Professor now? Tune into the podcast to find out what going on in the deep and dark recesses of Professor X's mind -- also to find out if the team survived the crash. Phoenix is sorta taking a back seat in this episode haha- Bender

IT BEGINS! Phoenix saga kicking it off with everyone's favourite S&M Daredevil -- Erik The Red? What was 4 issues in the comics the animated series thankfully condenses it in one tight fit episode. Brooksey and I break it down along with tally time and our callback segment "What sort of alcoholic drinks do the X-Men order"PLUS we finally reveal our favourite episodes of each season thus far.- Bender

The Lethal Predator is revealed -- The Spirit Drinker. Brooksey and I breakdown Part 2, the follow up to a super strong opening to season 3 of X-Men: The Animated series. Talking Reavers, Lady Deathstrike and Wolverine; Is it on par with the stellar part 1? Tune in a find out.PLUS in Marvel Move News we're breaking down Avengers 4 subtitles, my thoughts on Venom and what we think about about the outcast James Gunn writing and directing the new Suicide Squad!ALSO I reveal our VIP who's been following the show on youtube.- Bender

Ooo Yeah; The Reavers! Aussie Mercs in an underrated episode of X-Men: The Animated Series. Kicking of season 3 with a winner here in Out of the Past Part 1. I confused it with part 2 on the last podcast and was plesantly surprised at how awesome this was. New animation studio and a more rich and high contrast colour palette makes for a really visually distinct style of animated action here. Really ambitious action scenes too. Breakdown, X-Quiz, Tally Time, Claw Draw and Marvel Movie News returns where we discuss the Captain Marvel and Dark Phoenix Trailers. PLUS a new segment "That Doesn't Make Sense". ALSO we discuss a recent survey which reveals australia's most POPULAR Superhero. The results with surprise you. It's looking to be a great season for the podcast so strap in -- we're just getting started.- Bender

The Boys are back in town whic means the shows back and we've got Reunion Part 2. The thrilling conclusion to the Savage Land saga. Wrapping up all things Mutates and Nasty Boyz; talking He-Man and Battlecat... sorry Kazaar and Zabu and Kazaar's awful plans and body odour. Marvel Movie News returns with our thoughts on the latest regarding James Gunn and Captain Marvel. Was fun getting back into the swing of things and hope to get back to ur regularly scheduled listening.- Bender

Reunion Part 1 -- Big bounce back from the terror of Mojovision. We're back in the Savage Land and we're staying there for a little longer now. Also a SURPRISE location for Wolverine, Cyclops and Jean in their hunt for Morph. Also a debut of He-Man... I mean Kazar and his noble stead Zabu. The Nasty Boys return as we discuss what we want from our Nasty Boys spin-off as well as breaking down the rest of the episode.- Bender
