In this week's episode of the Generations Church podcast we review the teaching from this past Sunday. We continued our series called "Known," and we spent time reading Colossians 1:17-18. In this episode we focus on, "that things make sense only when Christ is kept at the center." We see here that Paul wants to communicate that Christ isn't just preeminent of creation, rather he is also the sustainer of all things. He does this through his church and the collective unified believers. In this episode we talk about how Jesus sustains, how God has equipped us for different ministry roles, and how Jesus is first above all things.

Continuing our teaching series "Known", as we continue in Colossians 1:17-18. In this passage, we see that "Paul describes the church as the organic, unifying, and mutually supporting roles of believers with one another as they exercise the fruit and gifts of the Spirit so they can grow into one body in Christ. And that Christ maintains his creation in permanent order, stability, and productivity."

In this week's episode of the Generations Church podcast we review the teaching from this past Sunday. We continued our series called "Known," and we spent time reading Colossians 1:15-16. In this episode we focus on, "when we see Jesus fully, we see ourselves rightly." We identified some blurry images in which our world has around who Jesus is and how we should relate him to our everyday lives, and then looked to Paul's writing in Colossians to find who Jesus truly is. We see that our value and worth is not found in our usefulness, rather it is found in Jesus.

Continuing our teaching series "Known", as we continue in Colossians 1:15-16. In this passage, we see that "when we see Jesus fully, we see ourselves rightly." Jesus is fully God, has authority over all things, and it is through him all things were created. "Your worth and value isn't based upon your usefulness, rather it is found in Jesus." Jesus is the source of life, creation, and love.
