Continuing our teaching series "Known", we transition into Colossians 1:3-8. In this passage, we see that "what we submit our minds and heart to on a consistent basis matters." When a unified church collaboratively and repetitively has a hope that evokes lives of faith and a love for all whom are connected with the church, the community will not be able to help but notice.

In this episode we focus on the author of Colossians, Paul. Who he is, how Jesus transformed his life, and how this will affect how we approach the letter of Colossians.

Continuing our teaching series "Known", we begin with Paul's greeting to the church in Colossae - Colossians 1:1-2. In this passage, we see that "to be in Christ is not safe; rather it is secure and sent." God has called you to a location to share, not to simply be a passenger.

We began a new series called "Known," and we spent time reading Colossians 1:25-29, where Paul gets to the root of his message. God has made himself known through Jesus. What is "cosmic reconciliation?" What do we do when we realize we have been living by a faulty map?

To kickoff our new sermon series "Known", we overview the series by teaching through our governing text -  Colossians 1:25-29. In the passage, we see Paul explain that the mystery that has been hidden for generations, is revealed in Jesus. There is a God in heaven who has made himself known.

What does it look like to listen to the truth of God's story in Jesus so that when you listen to the stories of others you can level the lies of the false narratives in love? Following Jesus will always erode the faulty foundations of our lives until we're built a life on him.
