Adam and Eve had the perfect relationship with God, enjoying relational intimacy & secure in their divine purpose. But their sin resulted in mankind falling farther away from their knowledge of God and of their own identity. Jesus Christ came to answer the two universal longings of every human being: Who is God? Who am I?

The blood of Jesus saves and redeems kus from sin and death. But what does redemption really mean? Why was it necessary for Christ to shed His blood? And what is the power in that blood that is now made available to us as believers?

This week, we’ve finally reached the end of our series on the Ten Commandments with God’s final word: Don’t covet what others have. It’s not only one of the hardest to obey, it’s the hardest to see in action! And in the command is also revealed how much the God who loves us wants to be our sufficiency, our source, and the object of our complete trust.

This week we’re working through the 9th Commandment. At its heart, lying is trying to conceal what that is true – dealing in ALTERNATE reality. God is ULTIMATE reality, the Light that reveals what is true. Being a disciple means walking in His light and being a lover of the truth, no matter how hard.
