Genesis Costa Mesa

We take a interesting turn in Acts 9, where we have been following the story of Saul, to an abrupt switch to a section of stories involving Peter. In this conversation Chris walks us through these stories.

Picking up from last week where Hannah left off, Chris continues through the early moments of Paul's story.

Moving onto Chapter 9 in our Origins Series, through the book of Acts, Hannah leads us through Saul's journey on the road to Damascus.

In this conversation Chris leads us through the majority of Acts Chapter 8; telling the story of the Apostle Philip.

Finishing out the story of Stephen from Actcs Chapter 7, Tyler leads through the text and the idea that in this life, even for followers of Jesus, we can not escape suffering.

Continuing in the message that Stephen gives the religious rulers in Acts Chapter 7, Sam brings us through the story of Moses, highlighting his early life, and unpacking the idea of going out before we are ready.

In this conversation we finish out the story of Stephen in Acts 7.

With Chris and Meryl away in Australia visiting family, Terry Fouche from Unseen Hope, came and shared with us. If you don't know, Terry and his wife Linda have been outside Elders to Genesis since the early beginnings of our community. In this conversation, through our Origins series in Acts, Terry leads us through the section in Acts where Stephen is arrested; possing us the question: What do we do when we are under pressure?

This passage perfectly lined up with introducing our new Elders this past Sunday. In this passage Chris leads us through Acts 6:1-8 where the apostles pick 7 leaders.

In this conversation Chris brings us through the remainder of Acts chapter 5 and takes some time highlighting the backstory of Luke.
