Remind me to tell you my thoughts on human sovereignty one of these days. I’ve got an interesting perspective on it. But that’s not what I’m sharing with you today. Something else occurred to me, today, as I saw the morning sun start to glow on the tops of the trees. It occurred to me that the morning sun will shine again tomorrow. And … Read the rest...

Right up front, I gotta say it. And I know this is anathema to the enlightened, evolutionary worldview. But here it is. There’s no such thing as fossil fuel. Bam! I just attacked the whole fossils evolution connection. And, no, there won’t be a forthcoming retraction or apology. Because the fossils evolution connection is a fairy tale. And I probably shouldn’t say that. Because … Read the rest...

I’m happy to celebrate when a church moves in the direction of rightly dividing the word of truth. But you almost never see that anymore. In fact, most establishments calling themselves churches move in the opposite direction. Sometimes the move is speedy. And often it’s slow enough to be almost unnoticeable. Like when a report says a church moves by the hand of God. … Read the rest...

It’s true. We Christians have a different perspective on life. So, we think different thoughts from the rest of the world. And that’s because we know ideas can have eternal consequences. So, we should think a different way. With a clear head. And with wisdom. Because it’s for sure that so-called “intellectuals” are constantly on the lookout for ways to trip us up. Way … Read the rest...

Infinitely creative. That’s the way you might imagine somebody who could conjure up designs for the universe and everything in it. And if you found out that the same person could get it all built in only six days, you might start to think, “This is no ordinary person.” And that would be the understatement of all time. Because there’s one who can be … Read the rest...

If you’ve spent even a little bit of time online, you’ve probably noticed a common “item” in the world of internet marketing. And you might have taken advantage of it more than once. I have. In fact, I have one of these on the opening page of TonyFunderburk.com. Of course I’m talking about the almost ubiquitous free offer. And marketers use it all the … Read the rest...

Talk about a very good feeling Imagine yourself in God’s shoes for a minute. Back at the time of creation. Those very first six days when He created Heaven and Earth. And everything in them. You’re looking down at it all and how perfect it is. Can you imagine? Wouldn’t it give you a very good feeling like never before? Well, that’s what God … Read the rest...

How come the whole world knows his name? About 2000 years ago, a baby was born. Well, a lot of babies were born. But only one of them was THE baby. No one, these days, would even know who he was, if he was just another baby. And yet, the whole world knows his name. At least in one form or another. Matter of … Read the rest...

Sharing a new tune and thankfulness on this episode of Rhyme and Reason I love when I first finish a new tune. There’s something magical and rewarding about being able to listen to a recording of what used to only be in my head. It must be, on a much smaller scale, how God felt, during the six days of creation. You can read, … Read the rest...
