Well, I'm starting to get a little tired of the shameless attempts to correlate the country's immigration issues with bigotry. I tell the story of Charles Thomas, a Negro League baseball player, from the early 20th Century—a story of struggle in the face of real racism. For Nancy to be using her grandson to manufacture a triumph over racism, and to be so bold and self-congratulatory about it...it's infuriating to me, and it's an afront to people who really have acted boldly in the face of adversity.
