We are back and ready to go for a PBC on Prime (And PPV.com) pay per view, as Gervonta Davis returns defending his lightweight crown. We go over that card, fight news and some Juan Manuel Marquez outstanding nostalgia on the latest "Big Fight Weekend Preview Podcast."

Host T.J. Rives and insider Dan Rafael have their takes and insight.

First, it's a brief recap of Teiken Promotions world title card on Monday in Tokyo, Japan, as 
Junto Nakatani bombed David Cuellar in 3 rounds to retain the WBC bantamweight title. Off the win unification is probably next vs. IBF titleholder Ryosuke Nishida. 

Plus, Japanese bantamweight Tenshin Nasukawa, the former kickboxing star now committed to a boxing career, stepped up in class and won a hard-fought decision up against former WBO bantamweight titlist Jason Moloney.   And in a terrific fight Seiya Tsutsumi won the final four rounds on all three scorecards to pull out a draw as he retained the WBA bantamweight title in an action-packed rematch with Japanese countryman Daigo Higa, a former WBC flyweight titlist.  Dan has a lot on this card.

First, the PBC on Prime Video PPV on Saturday in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Gervonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach Jr., for Davis’ WBA lightweight title. This is a D.C./Baltimore rivalry headed to NYC. We give you more. And, two title fights on the undercard:

Jose Valenzuela vs. Gary Antuanne Russell, for Valenzuela’s WBA junior welterweight title and Alberto Puello vs. Sandor Martin, for Puello’s WBC junior welterweight title. Is this set up for the winners to meet for unification at 140 lb. down the road?  Plus, Cuban Yoenis Tellez meets Julian "J Rock" Williams, for vacant WBA interim junior middleweight title, as well.
 
There's also brief talk on the Saturday on DAZN show from Fajardo, Puerto Rico with Subriel Matias meeting Gabriel Valenzuela in an IBF junior welterweight eliminator.
 
On the news front: 

Chris Eubank Jr.-Conor Benn kickoff press conference on Tuesday in Manchester (another was Thursday in London). Egg smash for Eubank on Benn?!? Yes, we have more.

Plus, former three-time world titlist Greg Huagen dies of cancer at 64. We remeber him. And, Tim Tszyu is set to return from two losses in a row to fight in Australia vs. Joey Spencer. Will be PBC on Prime Video event on April 5.
 
Finally, nostalgia
Feb. 28, 2009 — 16 years ago on Friday – Juan Manuel Marquez KO9 Juan Diaz to retain lineal and win the vacant WBO and WBA lightweight titles in the 2009 fight of the year. Dan was ringside in Houston for this tremendous battle.
