Tidlig i 2024 pensjonerte Daan van Baalen seg etter flere enn 50 yrkesaktive år som lege, forsker, gestaltterapeut, -coach og -veileder og ikke minst som medgrunnlegger av og pedagog på NGI. I juni gav han en avskjedsforelesning foran ca 250 kollegaer, studenter, venner og familie som samlet seg for å høre ham. Kvelden ble rundet av da Daan ble presentert med tittelen æresdoktor av høyskolen. De som ikke var så heldige å være i salen den kvelden kan høre forelesningen her.
