Happy Woo Wednesdays! I have Shantel in the Get a HECK YES House with New Pics on the block photobooth. I hired her company for my book signing party. They have the best photobooth. Today we talk about Creating a brand identity.
If you need a new brand identity, reach out to me.
Shantel reminds us to be true to yourself, no matter what. We got the right stuff!
Bio
Hi and aloha! My name is Shantel and owner of New Pics On The Block photo booth services. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hi. I have always loved the 80s and 90s fashion, music, movies, anything and everything from those decades.
Hot topic:
Creating a brand identity.
-“hi, name is…slim shady” create a name to reflect your company
-Get that logo to match it!
-take that name and express yourself with your branding
-create you social platforms. Colors, patterns, etc
-mix your branding and identity into your company from our prop, backdrops and our van!
-Dont stop believing. You will have hard times, your lows, moments you want to quit, but when you believe in your brand and what it can so, it will take you there.
Favorite sales technique : How do you get a HECK YES from your dream clients?
Focusing on the customers wants. A photo booth is not necessarily a need, since we are usually the last ones to get booked for almost all events, clients want something fun, memorable, and easy. Therefore, we come in to help provide a service to help capture those moments, give their guests a great time, and a photo album to help them look back on all the memories that were had.
For our HECK YES listeners: If you contact us and mention “Heck yes podcast” you get $100 off any package.

Happy Woo Wednesdays! What a powerful episode. Stop creating MORE content and repurpose what you have instead! Isabel Chen is amazing. She may be a digital marketer, but her science background means that she trusts data - and if the data says most of your sales come from non-social media methods (e.g. networking) , she's gonna tell you that's where you should focus ;)
Isabel's a scientist turned digital marketer who specialises in Pinterest marketing and content creation. After working for 4 years as a social media manager team of one in a non-profit, she is passionate about showing online business owners how to save time when it comes to their marketing.
My hot topic would be how content repurposing can save you HOURS in your marketing.
1. How repurposing content to other platforms (e.g. Instagram to Pinterest) can boost your reach
2. Repurposing Longform content (e.g. a blog) to shortform content (e.g. IG carousel) means you don't have to think of new content ideas but build more brand awareness
3. Repurposing lets you reinforce your message - they say someone needs to see/hear a message at least 7 times before they buy
Only for HECK YES listeners.
She is offering listeners a complimentary 30-min Map out your Marketing session to solve ONE marketing issue they're facing.

Happy Woo Wednesdays!
I have Sav in the Get a HECK YES house, the girl behind the phone! She's been filming weddings on her iPhone since 2019, and now is teaching others how to use the powerful camera they already have in their back pocket!
Sav hopes to encourage you to start with what they have so you don’t have to have the latest and greatest of everything for your gear kit in a world of commercialism and consumerism You are the magic behind your work, NOT your gear
Hot topic: Worrying more about gear than telling your client’s story does them a disservice.
1. A skilled filmmaker who understands light, story, composition, color etc can take even the cheapest or most outdated equipment and still work with it.
2. Storytelling will stand the test of time and will be what moves your clients to show their film to the children, grandchildren, etc, and a big part of storytelling is audio. I integrate high quality audio with my films.
3. Gear is just a tool. The meat of what matters in your work and business is how well you serve your clients, listen to and meet their needs, and give them an heirloom that will last generations.
