Ben Woodbury from Windsor, Australia has an incredible and damning story about his life in and out of the PBCC. He also has a mind-blowing talent for putting his experiences and emotions into speech. So many things he said touched a deep chord with us, as he gave expression to experiences that we all shared but had been unable to form into words.  Ben recounts some horrific and traumatic happenings, but his smile, humour  and personality are living proof that he is in a far better place than the narrow-minded and brainwashed bullies that tried for so long to drag him down. Listen to how our guest John Spinks decided as a young man to make his escape from the PBCC cult and what his plan for leaving looked like.  John reminded us their are over 40,000 different religions worldwide and each one of them believes they are the "chosen" one.  So that means if you belong to a religion you have approximately 40,000 to 1 chances of being in the "Chosen" one!  John explains how his experience led him to write a book about it years later and the emotional journey that writing the book took him on.  He received strict orders from inside the church no to write his book which slowed him down not even one bit!!

Could you imagine waking up one morning and being told not to come to a church service and then finding out after someone had the power to play God with your life? Our guest Rob McLean lost his wife, 6 children, grandchildren and his business in a blink of an eye due to a priest that had it out for him. He was withdrawn from through the letterbox for asking a question about Aberdeen.  The real reason was due to Rob making a comment in regards to Bruce Hales and it was reported to him.  When Rob was in a larger community, he kept his head down and made the best of his life that he could. He had to transfer to a smaller community and that's when things went south. You will hear how dangerously horrific and evil this system is and how they take out Christ in every way and replace it with Bruce. Our hearts broke as Rob walked us through his recovery from alcohol from being in the brethren and how the medication Naltrexone changed his life. We dive into the situation well known to the ex brethren community when Braden Simmons had his house raided. Rob, living there at the time, shares the ferocious antics of the PBCC.
