The Headband

Everybody get loose! This time we're joined once again by Albert as Aang and the gang invade the Fire Nation... with the power of dance! And we debate whether Aang is a smooth player or clingy little goblin, discuss the efficacy of laundry farms (run by laundry pirates of course), and get into the horrors of indoctrination and Fire Nation propaganda.

Season 3 Episode 1

The Awakening

Two seasons down, one to go! A few weeks after the fall of Ba Sing Se, Aang wakes up to find that everyone thinks he's dead. He takes it very poorly. We also get to see Zuko's weird relationship with Mai, and we finally see the Firelord's face. Join us for this, as well as some weird tangents about corgis and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The Lost Adventures

We're between seasons now, so we thought we'd take a break to look at one of the comics. This time, it's "The Lost Adventures", a collection of short comics that were released either online, in Nickolodeon Magazine, or during Free Comic Book Day. They are woven into the canon of the show, but most of them are... kinda just fluff. Today we'll take a look at the comics set during Books 1 and 2.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled program to bring you the Men of the Machine! We'll back back to normal next weekend with a Get Bent special episode, but to hold you over we have the culmination of our Halloween in July podcast collaboration. If you want to hear DJ, Jake, Kevin and Craig give our impressions on some classic horror movies, you're in the right place. Today we watched 1990's psychological thriller, Jacob's Ladder.

The Guru

Here we are, at the end of Season 2, and in the first half of the two part season finale. This episode is yet more buildup and a lot of wisdom about Chakras, but we'll have a good time anyway, even if our jokes get a little... blue. The Earth King

Now that the gang has made themselves enemies of Long Feng and the Dai Li, they hatch a bold plan to storm the castle and force the Earth King to listen to them. Meanwhile, Zuko acts so out of character that the DM punishes him with a coma! And that's really all there is to this episode! But let's see if we can fill out the airtime anyway!

Lake Lagai

The Earth King invites you all to Lake Laogai. And when you get there, you'll see that the kid gloves are off for this episode. It's time for the search for Appa to come to an end as Team Avatar breaks some rules and confronts Long Feng. This one is worth seeing if you haven't been watching the show along with the podcast. Someone might even die!

Appa's Lost Days

Welcome back, acolytes. Welcome to our first Jake-less episode. This time, DJ is joined by AJ and Eviizard from the classic gaming Twitch stream, KnostalgicKnights! They all come together to discuss what may be one of the biggest downer episodes in all of Avatar - though that doesn't mean it's a bad episode. So press on to find out what we all think about this.

As a fair warning, things get a little "political" during a tangent in this episode. I'm leaving it in because I don't think basic human decency should be a political issue
