City of Walls and Secrets

Hey everyone! Sorry for skipping a week; us hosts were both busy with some life stuff, which we'll talk about in podcast. But now we're back, and what a nice episode to come back to. We're beginning to build toward the finale of season 2, and the intrigue is ramping up as Team Avatar finally arrives in Ba Sing Se. This time, we'll talk about some good directing and some of those voice actors (and screen actors) you've heard everywhere but might not recognize.

So... this episode is basically just one big battle. And us such, there's a bit less to work with when it comes to our normal over analyzing. So instead we get dick jokes. Oh so many dick jokes. I apologize in advance for everything you are about to hear.

It's time to go to Ba Sing Se, and what better way than traversing the absurdly dangerous Serpent's Pass along side a family of plot devices! DJ, Jake, and our guest Kevin from Men of the Machine will be your guides and will help identify the dangers of the Serpent's Pass (hint: it starts with an S)

The Desert

Remember kids, Winners Don't Do Cactus Juice. But sometimes losers will recap episodes of Avatar on the internet. And this is a good episode to be recapping, featuring a little bit of everything that makes this show great and launching headfirst into the Lost Appa arc. And we're joined once again by Kevin from Men of the Machine, this time to talk about things that are not Kevin Smith related (but we still talk about Kevin Smith a little). And maybe, just maybe, we'll learn some facts about buzzard wasp honey.

It's been spoken of in hushed whispers until now, but we're finally gonna do it! After much anticipation, here we are! We're going through not one, but all 6 episodes of the ill-fated "Clerks: The Animated Series"! Did it age well? Is it worth seeking out? We'll be joined by Kevin (not Smith) from Men of the Machine to go over this lost project from Kevin (Smith).

This time we'll spend our podcast... AT THE LIBRARY! This is an episode where... not as much ground was covered as we thought. But it's still an interesting episode that gives the plot a new direction and introduces another creepy spirit. And we have Craig back yet again to tell us how he feels about the foxy librarians.

It's time to talk about an episode we all forgot about. But that's not why we're bitter. No, it turns out this episode of Avatar is really good. But the guest we had lined up bailed at the last minute, and I promised I would roast him on air if he did! So join DJ, Jake, and our honorary 3rd host Craig as we talk about a great episode while dragging our lazy friend. Don't worry, we talk much more about Avatar than people you don't know or care about.

The Chase

This time, we check back in with team Avatar to see how they're adjusting to their new companion. Turns out - not very well. And to top it all off they're being chased by a bunch of very angry ladies. Is this a great episode, or a bunch of teenage bullshit? Our guest Slim is back to help us discuss this episode.

WE'RE BACK! After our little April Fools break, it's good be back into Avatar. And what a good episode of Avatar we have this week! That's right, it's time for Zuko Alone! And we have yet another returning guest, Slim, back in the studio to talk about why this episode is a real masterpiece.

Sorry for the late upload! But it's finally here; the oft referenced episode, "The Blind Bandit", finally gets it's day on this podcast. Is it as great as we remember, or did we hype it up too much? I'm not gonna waste any more time in this intro, just give us a listen to find out our thoughts!
