If you could sum up Part & Parcel in three words, what would they be?

I can't think of just three! I would summarize it as "The past defines who you are"

What did you like best about this story?

Nick and Kelly and how fiercely they love each other. They have lost their way, but just a little. It was such fun to listen as they rediscovered what drew them to each other.

Have you listened to any of Brock Thompsons other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have. I will say that I didn't care for his narrations for the Sidewinders but that is not to say I didn't care for him. It's hard when You've listened to NINE books that gave these characters different voices. I just got used to the Cut & Run narrator, so Thompson just didn't nail some of the characters right for me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was and yes I did!

This is it, the final hu-ra for the Sidewinder team. Nick is still on the mend from being stabbed and damn near killed while he, Kelly and the rest of the Sidewinder team did everything in their power to bring down the Vega cartel before they could kill Nick's best friend Ty, and Ty's husband Zane. By now Zane has pretty much become an honorary member of the team, having bled for them all more than once. The knife wound, subsequent surgery and long road to recovery aren't the only things hanging over Nick and Kelly. They've both lost their way, each of them were a compass for the other to light their way, all the secrets and lies has driven a wedge between them and Kelly is not sure he will find his way back to the love he feels for Nick. It's a letter from the only member of their psychotic team of misfits to meet an untimely demise that brings the whole of Sidewinder back together and quite possibly remind Nick and Kelly why they depend on, care for and love one another more than life itself.

Written fabulously by Abigail Roux, characters brought to life by Brock Thompson, the final book in the Sidewinder and Cut & Run series' does not disappoint. I was a little worried about this group of men I have come to know and love having to go through another rough and tumble ordeal, but thankfully, Roux lowered the body count and anxiety level of this book dramatically from the others in these two series.

I love this book series, just sad that this is the last book. I'm really hoping that Kyell Gold does one last one book.

I love this series. When first reading this series, I was a bit skeptical about a pair of gay anthropomorphic furry characters, but Kyell Gold's writing is so superb that before I knew it I was hooked on these two. Devlin the football playing tiger and Wiley (Lee) the gay activist sports recruitment scout are so interesting to read. The world that the author has built touches on so many different themes and human interest problems that are very relatable in todays world. By the time I was 1/2 into the first novel, Out of Position, it was beginning to seem like the most normal thing in the world, romance....football....talking animals.

In this last of the series Dev and Lee are struggling to find their way in a relationship that has had some pretty rocky moments, and trying to figure out if their love is a forever kind of thing. This angst was just right amid all the family and friend crisis and drauma surrounding them constantly. In the end they discovered that they were perfect for each other and I was so sad to say goodbye to them. I hope that Mr Gold will revisit this couple again in the future. Love this entire series.

Narrator. While I absolutely love Jeremy Sewell's crisp clear voice,( he has a beautiful reading voice) he is not my favorite narrator by far. These books all switch chapters with Dev and Lee being the 1st person in alternating chapters. Mr Sewell does not distinguish between character voices AT ALL. Meaning that it was very hard at times to tell which character was speaking. Its very ...throw you out of the story ....distracting.. He basically just reads the book out loud. For me, he has a nice voice, but not ideal as a narrator.

wasn't wasn't a fan of how the series started well, I should say I wasn't a fan of the first couple chapters of the first book started. after i finished the first book I couldn't put the series down and I kept buying the next book after the next book .

I found this series and being the first books from Kyell Gold I loved it.

Holy crap, this was an excellent audiobook.

Frat Boy and Toppy is one of my comfort reads, and I find myself coming back to it time and time again when I need a pick-me-up. For me, it is a nearly perfect combo of sweet, hot, and light, and I could read it all day, every day. I was a little wary about how I would feel about the audio version. I've had MANY awesome books ruined by a terrible narration. I shouldn't have worried because Nick J. Russo absolutely slam-dunked the reading of this story. He just killed it. You go, bb!!

This book is a fun book about a college frat boy coming to terms with his sexuality. Brad isn't one to dwell or angst over it, though. No, he is the type to get... experimental... and then make a decision. I just LOVED Brad, and I love him more and more with each re-read. Nick J. Russo did a perfect Brad voice, as well as a perfect Sebastian voice, and he made those hot sex scenes even hotter.

I love the light kink in this story. Brad is a total bottom, and I LOVE how turned on he gets by ass-play. There is also some light D/s play that is exactly the kind that I like. YUM.

This book isn't a thinker. It's a total enjoyment read that will MAKE. YOU. SMILE. It is a book that I will continue to read/listen to every single time I have a bad day and I doubt my ability to love a book again. It's short and sweet and everything this girl needs in her life.

Wow!

Because I really like L. A. Witt, I purchased this audiobook without reading any reviews. I did go back and read some before writing mine. Some mention that there's too much sex in the story. Although l might agree with that, they were all really hot!!! And the story was well written with a true plot line, not just endless sex. I really liked both Liam and Jon.

Zachary Andrews did a great job with the narration. He seriously made the sex scenes sizzle. He really managed to make me feel all the emotions he was reading. His voice portrays seduction extremely well. I have to find more books he's narrated now!

I am head over hills in love with Zach Andrews voice! My god, I'm not into erotica past one or two scenes but this man, this Zach Andrews voice was incredibly sexy -fanning myself with a sigh- I think I actually listened to almost every sexy scene. -giggles- wow, what a voice!

I've read this story a while ago so I knew I'd love it, but Zach Andrews gave this story that mature, incredibly deeply, unbelievable sex appeal, warmth, calmness, and excitement to Liam and John characters that truly made this story worth 5 stars for me! And that's that's including all the erotica, which was way more than what I enjoy in my romances.

You're giving just enough of a romance tale for Liam and John, dealing with questionable exes, and confusing misunderstandings, and some beautiful tender moments that completely makes up for all the sex.

So, if erotica is your thing, you get that in abundance, but if you love romance that deal with character driven emotions you'll be just as happy.

A Little More of a Edge Than Usual

As a romantic kind of girl my influence in this library is obvious, I'm a real softie. However for the most part Radclyffe books have been too mushy even for me. This selection has more of an edge than any of the other six or eight books of hers I've listened to previously.

The Lonely Hearts club consists of three lesbian women who've been friends since their college days and are seemingly unable to find or maintain relationships. The chief protagonist Attorney Liz Ramsey is still in the process of getting over being dumped for a 23 year old grad student by her longtime girlfriend Julia. Julia is a nice example of a realistic heavy; she's not mean or evil she's just self-centered, self indulgent, insensitive, and blind to the feelings of others.

Brenda (Bren) is, unbeknownst to her friends, a writer of erotic fiction; she is unaware, even to herself what it is she's searching for.

Candace is the hot chick of the group as well as a Wall Street trader and the kind of player that you normally associate with a male professional athlete. She meets and spends a night with an attorney in Liz's firm; Parker Jones is another version of Candace, she's a player to whom the phrase 'long term relationship' equates to a holiday weekend. The two of them have a night that threatens to, gasp, become something more than a night of good sex.

Finally Dr. Reilly Danvers, an orthopedic surgeon who has avoided relationships since the death of her first serious lover. She and Liz begin a push/pull relationship that seems to be de riguer for all romance novels; that includes misunderstandings, miscommunication, assumptions, and a lack of communication. Though both of the two main protagonists have a too good to be true vibe they aren't the paragons depicted depicted in many of the authors works. In closing if you're a Radclyffe fan you'll love this book; if not, give it a shot anyway.

If you loved book 1 skip this one

Repetitive, redundant and boring. I don't know why this was even published. The first book by L.A. Witt that I haven't loved. Very disappointing.

I loved the first book in the series, and even though book 2 is missing, I bought this with great expectations. I wish I hadn't, it spoiled the memories of the first book. There is a gap, of course, without the second book. I don't know why that one was skipped. But this book is very simple. The stress of the way book 1 ended, and presumably whatever happened in book 2, has caused the lovers to become guilt-ridden and bitter, fighting all the time and on the point of either breaking up or sorting it out. They each think about this, discuss it, and don't discuss it, then have sex. The sex is amazing (to them). Repeat ad nauseam.

Each time they get together they kiss, as they never have before; look at each other as they never had before; shiver etc. I don't know why a whole book was thought necessary. There is about 2 pages worth of content that is just over-described and repeated.

The first book I listened to in one day. Even though it is so short, I struggled to finish this one at all, and only did so in case there was a twist at the end. I'm not sure what was more boring, the tedious angst or the endless sex. Either way, I'm returning this one.

Each installment follows the plot to the reasonable end, which I believe is yet to come.

In my review book review for How To Walk Like a Man I wrote the only thing that will make this better is when Matthew Shaw does the narration for the audio book.

And I was absolutely right.

Matthew Shaws sophomore effort proves he wasnt a flash in the pan, one time rock star. He gives a performance like a virtuoso, playing the characters brilliantly and bringing this story to life! I absolutely LOVED how he made each dog breed sound like you would expect their breed to sound it was awesome!

Timing, sound quality, character voices, cadence it was all fantastic. It doesnt hurt that this series gets better with each story.

This is brilliant, funny, sexy, and heartwarming. Coupled with Matthew Shaws narration How to Walk Like a Man has it all!

I absolutely, unequivocally, hard-core LOVE and ADORE this story! Eli Easton THANK YOU!! Because this? This was PHENOMENAL!

Getting to see the characters I got to know and love from How to Howl at the Moon again, ESPECIALLY Roman Charsguard, the newly quickened, German Shepard shifter, made me melt faster than a chocolate bar left in the sun, and it's just as sweet and savory! Roman made this book so extra-special for me. Getting to be a part of his journey as he realizes his full humanity and fall in love with DEA investigator Matt Barclay was so awesome I cannot gush enough.

Matt's struggle and fear with coming out, particularly because of his father the General, and his attraction and chemistry with Roman was beautifully done.

There's also a lot of humor in this, which is spectacular and adds just the right amount of juxtaposition to the deeper emotions.

Hell, it was all beautifully done! Bravo, Eli Easton! Bravo!

The only thing that will make this better is when Matthew Shaw does the narration for the audio book.

Loved it!

Not the typical Little Red Riding Hood story you heard as a child. The big bad wolf is actually a werewolf! Red Hood has been tracking the wolf all over the planet trying to stop him and the werewolf curse. Red Hood and Detective McQueen partner up, in more ways than one, to stop the curse.

As always, Erik creates suck likable characters, and Hollie makes us fall in love with them! Beautifully written fairy tale of werewolf hunting and love!

Red Hood Rave

I had never heard of this series, or this author. But, I am now a faithful and craven addict of this and the following books. This story is very accessibly written, nearly like just speaking to a friend which is the best way to really get into a tale. It has LGBT+ women, strong character development which breaks social norms in the best way possible, and a compelling ark which will keep you yearning for more

I normally don't like short stories. However, the description & "bundle" inferred an ongoing story, which this was. The characters grew on me and the narrator did not disappoint. The bundle ended at a nice break in the story. I look forward to and will purchase the next bundle. I must say I definitely would not have liked these as individual episodes. Stick with the bundles.

Very sweet, sometimes funny

Tanner is 22 years old, he inherited the diner he owns from Jesse. Jesse is the father of Tanners friend from high school, Mike and was the partner of Steve, Mikes other dad. Jesse died 18 months ago, leaving Tanner the diner because Tanner had been working there since moving to Hope 6 years ago.

Tanner has had a crush on Steve since they met, but thought it was hopeless. Steve was in a relationship, too old for Tanner, and out of his league. Now that Steve is alone, not much has changed, except that Mike has asked Tanner to check-up on Steve to make sure hes doing okay on his own.

Steve was a workaholic sales rep who has changed his life after the death of Jesse. Hes a commitment type of guy and since his loss, he hasnt met anyone worthy of a relationship. Tanner was always under his radar and now that hes been hanging around so much all of the sudden, Steve is giving him the attention he deserves.

Though this isnt a short story, it reads like one, so I want to be careful not to give away too many secrets, because there are a few surprises in this.

At first it seems like a simple story of May/December love, or about finding love after losing a partner, or jock meets nerd (Steve was a football player and Tanner is very reserved and slight physically). But its not. Theres another, deeper layer to this story. There are things in Steves past that have shaped who he is and his relationship with Jesse is more complex than youd guess.

Though Tanner is young, hes a very mature 22, since hes been raising himself for years.

Cardeno always does a great job of writing these clueless guys and then showing them the light. Tanner reminds me a bit of Samuel from In Your Eyes. The story is told from his perspective and in the first person and Tanner spends a lot of time in his own head and has a hard time voicing his emotions.

I didnt get as good a read on Steve, but hes definitely the more social and outgoing of the pair. I liked watching him show Tanner about love and relationships, he was sweet, sexy and funny, too.

However, there were parts of this story that didnt work for me as well. I wanted more about Steves past and his relationship with Jesse. It felt incomplete somehow.
