Funny
It took me a while to get into the book, not knowing what to expect but it was surprisingly addictive. I actually found myself sad that the ending didn't extend itself :)
Couldn't walk away from the beginning..........
I love that this book was not at all predictable. I was listening to it while working on painting projects in my house. I shook my head in disbelief and laughed out loud by myself. I love it when that happens. I wasn't crazy about its ending, but eh, I would listen to it again and I can't say that for all of them.

It was true to its word. It was definitely "a savage little tale of true love, old gods, bitches, bestiality, burnout, and above all, payback."
Who was your favorite character and why?
Gramma- she was plucky, even in the afterlife, although the tale of bestiality did make me cringe inside.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Autumn Woodland?
The narrator had a pleasant voice, but throughout the piece, she seemed sometimes close and other times very far from the microphone...often within the same sentence. I'm not blaming her...but, placing fault at the sound mixer, editor, etc. It was a bit frustrating.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
"I have eaten from your hand."

I enjoyed this tale, as disturbing as parts of it were. I laughed aloud several times.
Enjoyed it
I did enjoy this book but it was not one of my favoritesl.The reader was good and the story was intriguing but there were sometimes when the narritive was a little confusing.
Good Story, Odd Presentation
The narrator's lisp is really distracting early on. I was eventually able to ignore it. The story itself is entertaining. I enjoyed the honest characters. They were refreshing.
