Ahhh I love a small town romance, Gigi is a woman I can stand behind. She is strong of will and of heart; she makes me proud to be a woman. Yep I said that, not only does she have to deal with a lot in her past but she does it with grace and that is rare.

Jess well he tried to be a jerk and he just couldnt pull it off; I never got the jerky vibe from him even when he was being one. I am glad Gigi finally put him in his place. She laid it out; this is not how you can treat me.

Her daughter Row is the cuties, I love when kids are added into stories it livens it up a little. I enjoyed getting to know some of the secondary characters and I am looking forward to maybe some of these characters in books to come.

I really loved Avas narration; she is a narrator I look forward to listening to because she puts emotion into her voice. She draws us in and makes us feel a part of the story. And Joe well just listen to his voice enough said.

This was a sweet romance with a touch of mystery. The hero is a bit of a caveman so be prepared!

Very sweet story. Great narration

This is my first story from this author and am happy I gave it a shot. I felt the writing was very sweet, straight forward and evocative. I very much enjoyed how the growth between the characters occured and how the relationship and chemistry took place. The narration was spectacular as always. Eva Erickson conveyed so much emotion, an even though the chapters Joe Arden narrated were minimal, they were still great to listen to. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

Exciting western romance!

This is the first book by this author Ive listened to and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The heroine is a nurse who befriends a gruff older man in Spokane, WA. Shes a single mom and when he dies he leaves her a house in Montana, which she never knew about. Packing up her daughter and heading out to start a new life is exciting for her. Soon after she arrives she meets the local sheriff and they clash sparks off each other from the start.

A very dark Cinderella story.

Carian Cole doesn't just tell a story, but rather takes you on a realistically beautiful journey. I own every book available by this author on audible and can't wait for more. This author's way of really humanizing her characters is like nothing I've ever experienced while listening to a book before. Life and the people in it aren't always a pretty fairy tale and she captures that good and evil balance perfectly. I also love that all of Carian's book's include animal rescues. By always weaving this subject matter in the stories she writes brings awareness to the furry friends that so desperately need our help. Carian, is one of the best story tellers of her time. She has a unique way of making you understand her complex characters, describing the scenes without unnecessary information, and wrapping her endings up in a believable way. Everything is balanced so nicely. I hope her writing style never changes.

Now on to the spoiler free review. Tyler is a hermit in the woods. An outcast from society his physical scars make it hard for him to go in public because of the stares and judgement he receives. He's content with his solitary life spending time creating beautiful things and rescuing animals. One day he rescues Holly from a horrific situation. Misunderstandings about that day changes things for both of them. Flash forward year's later.. Holly feels like no one can completely understand her and what she's endured. The one thing she never forgot about that night was the prince who saved her. When the universe puts these soul mates back in each others path's they only find comfort from their abnormal lives when they are spending together. They give one another the courage to heal. She see's the real man behind the scare's and he soothes her PTSD. Love and intimacy blossom very slowly because Tyler is respectful, patient and cautious of her past. The prologue was absolutely wonderful!! It made me want to hear more.

I think Ava and Guy did a great job making this memorably mesmerizing story even better. This book was not only worth the credit, but the wait. It was certainly more than I anticipated and my expectations were high. *Now a little warning* this book does deal with heavy subject matter like alcohol, drugs, death, and child abuse. I hope this doesn't discourage anyone from listening because you will be so absorbed you won't be able to pause it. Even though there are a couple of beautifully written sex scenes between Holly and Tyler the main focus of this book is not the sex. It's about two broken people finding everlasting love.

IT TOTALLY TIED ME UP IN ITS HAUNTING CHAPTERS

This isn't a sweet easy-going listen.. instead the only fairytales are the ones a six year old girl has in her backpack when she's abducted..

Lord Save Me From Weak Emotionally Moronic Heroine

I realize that there would be no story if both the main characters are healthy well-adjusted people who are fully ready for a relationship but I am really tired of heroines who have zero self-esteem and constantly second guess the fact that a man is into them. The tired cliche of shutting the other person out before they can hurt you is...well...tired. There really wasn't much of a story to begin with as the setup is ludicrous. This woman is supposed to be an intelligent human resources manager and yet thinks it's a feasible plan to try to blackmail the owner of the company she works for into going to a family wedding? I'm pretty sure that Days of Our Lives passed on that story line for being too crazy.

The sex scenes were plentiful but full of words like rod and feminine center. To top it off the narrators were the final straw. The male narrator wasn't too bad, though with a penchant for overly dramatic intonation but the female narrator really killed it for me. I just have a hard time taking a story seriously with the dramatic emphasis on even the most mundane sentences. There was the occasional bright spot (her family was a hoot) but this really wasn't for me. There really felt like there was no true beginning, middle, and end of the story. It just sort of rambled along.

The male narrator just turned me off.

I couldn't listen to the male narrator, his voice bothered me enough to stop listening.

I like this story a lot.

Not one of Susan Mallery's best

Definitely now my favorite Susan Mallery book. I have read a lot of her books but this one just seemed very rushed.

Hard to follow

There are too many references to past storylines, making it difficult to follow the current storyline.

Amazing!

I absolutely loved this story. It's my first Susan Mallery book but it certainly won't be my last. I loved the variety of characters introduced and the hints of a backstory you got from each one. I found myself disappointed when the characters were disappointed and excited when the characters were excited. This story completely sucked me in. It took me less than 4 days to finish this book and I'll be moving on to the second one tonight. Definitely worth the read/listen.

So bad I cannot believe it got published this is something like Fifty Shades of Grey only much worse

This book had nothing to recommend it, the story was confusing boring and poorly constructed. The adult content, something I occasionally enjoy just seemed tasteless not erotic . I did not like one character in the book and I felt the main character, Avery, was pathetic in the true sense of the word. I read or listen to two - three books a week and this was a standout for awful.

I subsequently noted this is an author with a fair number of published books, honestly I assumed it was a first or second published book. I only finish the book because it was very short and it was so bad I just wanted to say if it ever got better. It did not, there is a sequel oh spare me.

Hot!

These two are so busy trying to hate each other they don't see the flames.

After the Pawn, I would have never listened to The Knight if I hadnt already bought it. Much of the same with great detail to description causing a slow development of the mediocre story line. An OK listen but not worth the credit.

addictive beyond all reason

Skye Warren has well and truly hooked me with Avery and Gabriel's story. There is unknown danger around each corner. The twists throughout this book slowly unravel painting a bigger picture of the the circumstances surrounding Avery and will keep you on the edge of your seat all while she and Gabriel go head to head. I can honestly say that for all his ruthlessness, I fell a little in love with Gabriel. I HIGHLY recommend this book by Skye Warren. She is a true mistress of writing so it grabs you by the gut.

WOW!

Why oh why must this story have to end on a cliffhanger? I loved these and now they are ruined! I will not ever buy another book by this author! I bought three of these! What a waste. The narration was great! I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!

Another cliffhanger!!!!

I can't believe I am the only person who thinks this is the absolute WORST narration?! Actually editing, I have listened to both narrators before and enjoy them. Somehow they sound like robots on sleeping pills in these stories which makes it so hard to listen even at 1.25 speed!!

However I love Lisa Rene Jones so I will wait a year for the next book. Hopefully the editing will be better by then!!

Not a fan.

I enjoyed the Inside Out series, Provocative and the Walker brothers, but not a fan of the Dirty Money series. I guess I keep hoping it will get better but for the most part it just isn't believable. I'm really not a fan of the narrators, either. They are flat for the most part and any emotion seems contrived.

Brilliant story. Loving this series!

We're more than halfway through this series now. Book #3 and we're deep in the belly of the beast. It's like trying to watch a game of chess unfold through a thick fog of deception, while flames are closing in on you from every side. There are so many players in this game, so you really need to concentrate to keep track of them all, especially when some of them make unexpected moves and seem to transform like a chameleon. This book had me questioning everyone's motives.

OK romance, but a cliffhanger

This is one of my pet irritations. a book that is incomplete unless you buy the rest of the story. This story is incomplete without also listening to The Player.

5 The Catch Stars

I am left with a full heart after this book.

I said it before I am not a fan of cliffys and well that still holds true but wow these books were phenomenal I can forgive the cliffy. ;)

Easton really surprised me in this book, because I felt in the first book he held back so much. With this book he let it all hang out, sure he took time for himself when needed and I cant fault the guy for that he had to work through things on his own before he could let Scout in.

Phew and Scout she was awesome she let Easton have the time he needed and she would seek him out when she knew he needed that too. She really goes through a lot in this book more so because of the health issue her father was having. You see her struggle and I liked that Easton was there for her when she needed him. Very much liked that she was there for Easton without judgment that was a surprise to me and it made me like her all the more for it.

What a great end to a two book series, it tied everything up but still left us with so much to think about. A full heart.

Total fan of the narration too both Andi and Joe have that special something that brings this book to life in our ears. I cant think of a better duo to have done this book justice.

I have read and reread and reread this duet of books. I am sure I will be reading them again.

The story is wonderful.

Andi and Joe has ruined all other audio books for me because unless they are the narrators I just cant get through the book. They are the absolute best.

Easton had my heart and soul. Wow! New fav book boyfriend. He melted my insides the things he said and did wow. I can't forget about my girl Scout. I wish more books were written this way the strong, living no nonse male and the strong independent women they each knew what they wanted and went after it never giving up. I am having #EastonandScout withdraws.

I've got to say, Andi Armstrong is my favorite narrator. Any book she reads has been great.

WHAT A WONDERFUL UNEXPECTED SURPRISE

I can't believe this listen was only $4.86 for 8 hrs 22 minutes of a very enjoyable hot romance that has sexy Cardiac Doctor/biker Devlin Dane vying for a chance to prove himself with Kayla, one of the nurses, who he can't get out of his mind. Then, just as Dev is making headway with Kayla, his famous Motorbike Racing hot twin brother Reece puts a spanner in the works when he is admitted after an accident and needs round the clock nursing care.. by one very popular nurse. And, once Reece is moved to Dev's house, Kayla continues to nurse him back to health.. but he's another alpha Dane badboy flirting and trying to charm his way under her scrubs - which doesn't sit well with Dev.

This starts a nice long push/pull tempting relationship between Kayla and the brothers.. until eventually one brother succeeds however the other still desperately wants Kayla.. and she wants both of them too. Eventually.. after some angst, they settle into a passionate, loving hot menage relationship for a while.. but unfortunately things don't stay that way.

This listen was a total surprise - basically because it was so cheap I really didn't expect much at all but took a chance.. and wow Ms. Never can certainly write a riveting story.. a story that weaved its way into my heart. Its likeable characters have a lot of depth, the storyline is exceptional, the sex scenes are very hot, the romance and dynamics between the three had such a tender loving feel about it.. and that ending totally and utterly wrecked me. I lived and breathed this book.. and it'll take me quite a while to get over the twist that this very talented Author hit me with. Told from three different POV's and great narration too.

Worth a credit? Well it absolutely would have been.. but they're practically giving it away so I just $ snapped it up. And, if you're in the mood for a steamy, passionate, romantic, touching, beautiful story about true love between three people..

I love this series, and the Audible live versions

I love this series, and the Audible versions have an added enjoyment of such lively characters. Iilistrating these well developed vulnerable and humorous personalities in a very warm and colorful presentation of the eventual flexibility of romantic love. I highly recommend both parts of Candy 's story and look very much forward to Bylee,Riddick, and Ryan 's story on Audible.

I really enjoyed this book however you will want to listen to the first one first this is not one of those Standalone types I hope I'm not giving anything away here but I do love a good HEA

psycho babble

characters were not compelling. Too much long winded psycho drama. Disjointed story line and relationships

This is so bad. I missed the middle of the book and have no desire to go back and listen to it. This one is going back.

Way better than expected

What does Laurie Catherine Winkel and Matthew Holland bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

These two performers were amazing. The story would not have been as emotional and intriguing without their performances.

I don't know why now, but I had been hesitant about buying this book even though it had been on my wish list for several weeks. The description is very minimal compared to the all the twists, turns, and emotions that were felt when reading it. Both characters are likable, even despite Ryen's "I'll walk over people if I have to" attitude; however, Misha's character was wonderfully written and I really found myself liking him more and more throughout the book. I've seen other reviews referring to him as arrogant and controlling, but I think he really had a good reason to be that way towards Ryen and I like that he treated her that way because of his own moral standpoint and outlook on life and how people should be treated. If you are hesitant about reading it, go for it! It was definitely worth it. This was one of my favorites and I've been an audible member for a few months now. I definitely recommend it.

Didn't see it coming!

High school was not where I wanted to really go with this story. The main characters were far from high school but the secondary characters were definitely high school. The story has so many twist that I found myself surprised at the end. It was so easy on the ears that I could not stop listening.

Laurie Winkle was very believable in this story of Ryen. I like how she didn't change her voice a whole lot between characters.
