Odd
paranormal, urban-fantasy, werewolves
Unusual perspective on werewolf culture and practices. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but I am offended at a person being spoken of as a pet. Some of the disciplinary practices regarding rogue werewolves seem cruel without being decisive. Aside from all that, the imagination is stellar, the characters are engaging, and the writing is very good. Plan to read the rest of the series.
Meghan Kelly is excellent at giving voice to this story.

What made the experience of listening to Alpha Wolf's Pet, Hidden the most enjoyable?
Not too long, not too short... but the author was able to write a story that was descriptive and built a wonderful world of wolves in your mind. I really liked the different directions the story took so you didn't know where it would eventually wind up.
Meghan Kelly did a superb job of narrating the story and giving the characters depth. Narrators can make or break an audio book.

Mia, she's so spunky and relatable.

This is a great book; this is the first book in The Alpha Wolfs Pet series written by Eva Gordon and narrated by Meghan Kelly. Mia had to enter witness protection program after her testimony against Russian mobsters. She was relocated to a quaint cottage in Wolf Woods, near Mt. Rainier. There she meets Dominic, the handsome owner of the mysterious Wolfe Estate. Dominic Wolfe, is an alpha werewolf and is the packs enforcer. When he meets Mia he starts thinking that they may be meant to be together.
The narrator Meghan Kelly, did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. I have enjoyed very book that I have enjoyed every book that I have listened to by this narrator.
