Entertaining Read
This book illustrates common first-year cases (and other law school topics) in the form of haikus, and does so quite well. As the author points out, legal writing is similar to haikus; it needs to be concise, to the point, and persuasive. With the added layer of humor, these haikus are a refreshing look at the life as a law student.
Great gift for law students!
This is hysterical and a great gift or stocking stuffers for the law student in your life. Itâs a quick read that is witty and fairly legally accurate. Wonderful surprise!
Cornell Law Student Loves It!
Bought for cousin's birthday. My cousin goes to Cornell Law. She says this book is on-point hilarious in a very nerdy way. Glad I got it for her. Very recommended.
Great gift for a first-year law student
Great gift for a first-year law student! There are plenty of inside jokes that only someone who has gone through the struggle will understand. A fun book to keep on the shelf and something to quote at infamous "cocktail parties" when making small talk about how much "fun" everyone had their first year of law school.
... son is a second year law student and he loved this book
My son is a second year law student and he loved this book. Though he wouldn't quit reading it after I gave it to him.
