Good start to series!

I originally received a free copy of this story in exchange for an honest review. I have since purchased a copy as well.

Twisted Lies is a good quick read. It has a wonderful story line, great characters, and several juicy angles to maintain the reader's interest. Core and Sinthia are working hard to avoid the inevitable. Both are alpha characters and it will be really interesting to see which character will end up on top. The prologue led us to believe there is some sort of relationship between the two. However only a hint of something is revealed in this installment.

Twisted Lies is a good intro to the series. We discover both Sin and Core's reasons for their alpha personalities, the events and actions that shaped their lives, and the depths of desperation which led to their unconventional business relationship. Twisted Lies seem to be foreplay for this series. Let the games begin!

Wonderful Read

Core and Sin sure know how to sizzle the pages!! A great quick read that is sexy and fun too!

Vore and Sin try and escape the inevitable attraction between them with both being alpha personalities neither want to give up control.

It's an amazing book. I definitely recommend this!!

Great story....

Sin and Core are pretty hot, through the lies and deceit they belong together. This is a very sexy and hot read which does end on a cliffhanger but for this story I don't mind.....can't wait to read the next.

The Best Revenge is to be Happy!!

I am a big fan of Jasmine Hayne's work, have read most of her books, and especially love her short stories. I am also a fan of her hotwiffing series because the topic is so salacious and taboo, you can't help but wonder what goes on in other people's bedrooms. I think that Jasmine has given the series a personal touch and elevated the topic to a new- more acceptable- level. Many people may not enjoy this kind of genre but it is a lot more popular in real life than many of us realize and it is amazing what goes on in real life.

As for this new installment, it is best to have read the first story- "Kindy Neighbors" - to fully embrace this sequel which is a closure of sorts in the story.

In the first story, we meet the 2 couples that risk their own marriages for a little experimentation and how much is too much, will be up to each individual. The couples were very different but each partner got to meet their other - not necessarily better- halves and re-worked their arrangements, sometimes for the better, sometimes not. You will have to check the results for yourselves in Part 2 and see if there is life and happily ever after in hotwiffing!!

I particularly enjoyed the bad girl, Cat, who is absolutely delicious in her manipulative and deceiving ways. You can't help but love to hate her.

And I did!!

Well I must add that Kinky Neighbors One was such an Amazingly HOT book for me that when I saw that Kinky Neighbor's Two was out I bought it right away.

This was a very short read that gave closure to the two couples from book one. Once again the heat factor was scorching HOT which is a good thing for me :-) I really loved where Jasmine took these four character's in this book and was delighted that Drew and Alexis got the very HEA ending they deserved. Just Desert's was a perfect title to add to this book because that is EXACTLY what Logan and Cat got at the end of this book. Even though it was Cat that I liked the least, I feel it was Logan who lost the most and I enjoyed reading about him realizing this.

Thank You Jasmine for the giving us this little story to give the characters and us this most excellent ending.

Serena was living alone no family trying to get her degree in music composition and needs a professor to work with her. She has her eye on Sebastian and she agrees to attend a family fundraiser with him to get his mother off him to marry a family friend. They treat Sebastian badly because he brought Serena and she sticks up for him embarrassing everyone and leaves .Sebastian leaves to and thanks her and suddenly becomes violently ill and burning up Serena takes him to her home and has to take him to the hospital for suspected food poisoning. No one one else gets ill and when Sebastian walks into his house after being discharged he finds everything has been ransacked but nothing missing. Afraid for his family he goes to see his father where he runs into a young man his age with blond hair she thinks he knows. His father explains everything to him that someone maybe out to do him harm. Sebastian asked Serena to move in with him then leaves town for a few days Serena girlfriend shows her a picture of him announcing his up coming marriage and Serena runs away to her Ex her Master Sebastian returns to find her gone and gets Laura to tell him where she went. Kailin Gow has blown me away with The Protege. I have always been a fan of her books and her writing, but if I had never read a book by her before, this book would definitely make me a huge fan of hers! I read it one day! It is beautifully written and the character development is amazing and definitely makes the book so much more enticing!!

The dynamics between Serena and Sebastian is amazing. Serena does her best to keep her sights set on her main agenda, obtaining the best adviser and becoming a talented composer. However, the sexual tension is too hard to fight between her and Sebastian. And it doesn't help that Sebastian doesn't hide his feelings and desires from her. These two quickly come to an agreement that will help them both and not interfere with the student/professor relationship.

As the story unfolds, we learn a lot about Serena and Sebastian. Sebastian doesn't fit well into his family and their way of living. Serena didn't have the best upbringing yet did her best to get where she is today. These two mold perfectly together and move with such ease. However, not everything is as it seems. Secrets will always come out.

Perfect!

This read has every good quality in a book that is sought after. The characters are all unique and are a part of many crazy plot twists and and scenes that leave you wanting more and more. There isn't a single chapter that doesn't lack the great detail that paints a vivid picture of every scene and all the important parts of the environment right into your mind. It doesn't take long for the suspense to really kick in with this book, and I found myself wondering what would I do if I were in the protagonists position - and ofcourse, I had to find out what she was going to do. I had no idea what was about to unfold, things start to get hot and heated very quickly. I couldn't be more pleased with this book, it's perfect in every way

Scheming, Cold-Heart Characters, Uninspired Office Sex

I wanted to like this, but it's just not for me. The story dragged on, with the first person narrator telling, rather than showing, the reader a lot of tedious things about what sort of person she is, and it seemed like maybe this is a person I could at least root for even if I don't relate to her or like her. But then when the action starts it turns out that she's way too much of a backstabber for me to root for. She betrays her friend, and then she experiences only a brief twinge of guilt before deciding to gleefully destroy this same friend, as if the previous betrayal were not sufficient. A former best friend who had done nothing whatsoever to hurt the main character, other than being married to a man the main character lusted after. By the time the installment ended, I was actively hoping the main character and her lover would crash and burn, and that the beleaguered friend would emerge with the power and the money.

Then it ended on a cliffhanger. You guys, this isn't a short story. It's a segment of a serial novel. Short stories have their own story arc, complete with a conclusion. I wasn't expecting to get to the end and discover that I had to buy another installment, which would probably involve a tedious narration of the main character speechifying about her character traits, to find out what happens next.

One could argue that the most important thing in a story like this is really the sex anyway, but that felt uninspired too. There didn't seem to be any emotional connection between the two partners, so the one lone sex scene played out like a really low budget porno. And this is the man for whom the character is going to crush her best friend. Ugh.

I decided I didn't want to see what happened next. I don't want to see these characters scheme and hurt and use each other. I guess I wanted something more romantic, rather than just humping.

Which isn't to say that I don't think this story could work for some readers. Jackie Collins makes a good living writing stories like this. But it's not to my taste, and I think it needs more revision. More showing rather than telling throughout. Maybe more foreplay in the sex scene.

Saving the best for last :-) - Roman!

My favorite character of the BAD Boys, Roman finally gets his chance for happiness in a big bdsm way! I honestly think this is the best out of the 3 Enslaved tales by Ms. Evers - probably because I didn't care as much for the first 2 couples (Trevor and Elisabeth; Marc and Lauren).

The narration is better here than in the first 2, though there are some minor audio 'echoes' and maybe holding onto ending phrases a touch too long on occasion, but overall, flows well and was very entertaining.

And it premiered during Audible's 25% off sale - can't beat that!

Preferred Roman in books 1 and 2

Where does Enraptured rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

Definitely, the sex scenes are hot and some are pretty intense, but I preferred Roman in books 1 and 2. I liked him better when he was a brooding, darker personality.

Which character as performed by Christine Padovan was your favorite?

Roman and how she voiced Jessica's parents was spot on.

Would like to see the author make her characters more developed and darker and stay that way, even at the end of a story or series. So much potential for a longer story but the author rushes the events to a quick conclusion.

Not light and fluff BDSM

This book has a BDSM 101 kind of feel to it, but with a more curious angle. Grace is looking to learn more about her ex's new lifestyle. I don't think she is really into the kink, so much as into the kink with Ian.

This book goes into detail of her research and their journey to finding one and another again.

Plenty of playtime and just enough steam to keep a gal happy. I am not into whips, so that part wasn't as appealing. Still it will be right up other kinkster's alleys.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Scarlett Day, who has a great read. I enjoyed her pace and energy throughout the read. Terrific tone for both the male and female characters. She brought a great energy to the read, especially the naughty scenes!

This is a super quick read, a yummy appetizer! I am interested in reading more of Ms Evers' work. She seems to go to a deeper place with her BDSM, touching on rougher scene play.

Awesome Story, Great Narrator, Pulled Me Right In!

Definitely recommend this audiobook! Not only are the characters quickly drawn up and you feel for the protagonists, the plot also thickens quite nicely and unfolds with an awesome "Sexily Evers After" I typically find of Shoshanna Evers' works.
