Ok I tried to give this one a chance. I just cannot manage to even finish it. It seems more like a cheesy porn to me. It does have some plot to it but it's just not interesting enough. I have to say that I had high hopes for this book. The description of the book was interesting. The problem was the book kept going on and on about stupid stuff for half of the story. The whole concept of the book was really cool. I just think that the author could've done a better job developing the main characters.

Surprisingly good, but not erotica

I found this in the erotica section and the plot looked interesting. Let's get this straight (pardon the pun), Holly and Her Naughty eReader is not erotica. There are erotic elements to the story, but if you're expecting hot and heavy sex, go elsewhere.

What you do get is a pretty reasonable fantasy story about a woman who gets an "unscheduled supernatural upgrade" to her Kindle Fire. This results in her Kindle letting her inhabit the bodies and minds of the characters in the stories, and she has something of a torrid time in a Fifty Shades knock-off novel called 'His Golden Shackles.' Of course, it all goes horribly wrong, but it's got a happy ending... and I really doubt I'm giving anything away in saying that.

The book starts strongly. Holly comes across a little like Jane Jameson from the 'Nice Girls' books by Molly Harper. The humour is similar and I like that kind of thing. The latter half of the book, as things begin to get crazier, is not so good, but still engaging. It starts reading like fan-fiction much more as the resolution unfolds. A shame, but not too damaging.

Worth a read, just don't expect rampant werewolf action or something as Holly delves into her new found fantasy worlds.

BE & SIN-Epic Scenes and Loving each other when not truly trying!!! PRICELESS!

I love how Emma writes her novels. You can feel her heart through her writing. This novel showed it through the depth of the writing and the characters.

Sin and her BFF Jolie decide to take a cruise after Sin catches her boyfriend having sex at his office. Sin and Jolie being the nomads they are, take on a new adventure at Sea. Sin has no idea what is going to happen but she is excited to take on a new experience. Not only will she confront her past but she will also have extra benefits with her BFF.

After leaving Jolie in the room to nap, Sin decides to go the buffet to indulge. BE only shows up after Sin needs a rescue by a night and shining armor. Sin is being hit on by someone she is not interested in and being a little neurotic, the man cannot take the hint. So, Sin does what she knows best, catches BE from her eye and plays a little game with him to get rid of her little follower. Little does she know that BE will take her on a new adventure, show her the meaning of true love and walk away after a week at Sea. Can Sin finally put her past behind her and learn to live with loving someone else who will not leave her, or will she end up heartbroken?

This story was beyond beautiful. I picked up early on that there was something amiss with BE. I had hoped it wasn't to damaging, yet I also know that neither of the characters would have been able to truly feel if they didnt find each other. Decisions, decisions!!!

Great read, can't wait to continue the series

I love the idea of being able to just pick up and go where you like but maybe that is just because I can't. It seems that Alysin tries to avoid deep meaningful connections with everyone but her best friend Jolie. They are both free spirits who are not tied to an office or any one place. They live the lives of vagabonds and love it. Alysin catches her boyfriend cheating so she and Jolie decide its time to regroup and move on so they go on a cruise while they decide where they'll end up this time. On the ship Alysin gets hit on and uses a stranger to get herself out of the situation.
