Great overview of Buddhism!

This little book is a simple and easy but also very informative introduction to the basic principles of Buddhism. It's a great source to start learning about the history of Buddha, different traditions of Buddhism, about mindfulness and meditation.

What I liked the most about this book is that it points out the essence of the teachings of Buddha and describes how to incorporate them in our everyday life. It emphasized the importance of Love and Compassion which help to overcome fear and anger- the main causes of human suffering.

Great book about Buddhism and Mindfulness

Great book about Buddhism and Mindfulness. It talks about the story of Buddha, and a lot of his different teachings such as the law of karma and meditation. Very insightful and a quick, easy read. At the end it speaks about ways to incorporate the knowledge from the book into your daily modern life, which made a lot of sense. Overall excellent read.
