It’s time to understand where real transformation comes from. It doesn’t come from what you do. Just working harder isn’t going to get you what you want in life. In fact, working longer hours like over 50 hours a week has been show to decrease productivity.

Transformation starts on the inside. Everything starts from there. It all starts with our thoughts which turn into beliefs that determines the type of action you take.

That’s why you can work really hard but if you’re working from a place where your thoughts and beliefs don’t support you, you’re not going to get the results you want.

For example, if you want to start an online business but you keep telling yourself you’re a failure and you think about all the past failures then you’re going to take action that’s scared. In your mind, it’s not going to work out already so you don’t try that hard. Then you don’t get the outcome you hope for and that reinforces your beliefs.

In this episode, I talk in more detail about why transformation from your mindset is where you need to start and how to do it.

Are you the type of person that worries a lot? It can be easy to worry about many areas of our life. Turn on the TV and the news can easily cause us to worry. We worry about the future, the economy, our family, friends, children, and the list goes on. 

Worrying is something we learned growing up from our parents and other adults. We’re not born constantly worrying about the future.

We grow up and we learn to worry about so much more. If you don’t get control of worrying, it’s going to keep you stuck.

That constant worrying stops today and I talk about how you can do that in this episode.

When we’re born we have no beliefs. That’s why when we’re young, we do a lot of things and act more confidently because we have no beliefs about them. Overtime we hear from teacher, parents, friends, relatives and society about what they believe to be true. 

We have beliefs that we carry around with us every single day that came from as far back as being a child. Beliefs like money doesn’t grow on trees or you’ll be nothing if you don’t get good grades. We carry those beliefs as adults and we don’t realize that these believes have been holding us back. 

It’s time to choose new beliefs in your life. It starts with this episode. I hope to get you to question your current beliefs so you can start to make new ones.

We’re heading into the final quarter of the year and it’s not time yet to start looking to next year to get started on what we want to do. There is still a lot of time left for us and it’s important to take a time to reflect back on this year first.

I needed to ask those questions in order to find the answers I needed. I’ve begun to do things that I hadn’t done before in order to get different results. I share what I’ve been doing in this episode.

In our lives we have people who love to give their opinions. We might go to them to ask for advice or we may not even ask them for their opinion.

But be careful who you get your advice from. Do they deserve your attention? Should you pay attention? Should you just ignore?

I wouldn’t go to someone who’s obese to get weight loss advice. I wouldn’t ask for advice about a business decision from someone who’s never run their own business. Nor would I ask for life advice from someone who’s always played it safe.

In this episode, I hope you consider who you listen to for advice.

One of the common struggles I hear is about feeling stuck in life. There are many reasons a person feels stuck but it all feels the same. They don’t know what to do. They feel like they’re trapped in an invisible prison. They don’t see a future full of hope. They’re lost, confused, and hopeless. 

In this episode, I first talk about what it actually means to feel stuck. Where that feeling comes from. Then I share about feeling stuck in May and what I did to overcome it. 

I share 3 steps that you can take whenever you’re feeling stuck. It will help you get out of that negative mental cycle you’re in every day and get you moving forward again in life. 

A couple years ago we began the search for a new home. It turned out to be a long process with a lot of ups and downs. A lot of things happened that we didn’t anticipate at all.

In the end, we found the perfect house for us. We’ve been living there for two months now and absolutely love it. Every day we’re thankful for it.

Because we faced so many low points in the journey, it was challenging to remain positive throughout. Most of the time it was my wife who was ready to give up and felt that we would never find the right home for us.

I had one belief that I told her every single time and it was a belief I felt with every ounce of my body.

Looking back now if it weren’t for that belief, I truly believe that we would not have found this perfect home for us.

In this episode, I talk about the journey of finding our home, the ups and the many downs, and the belief that I continued to hold and believed was true.

Recently I’ve set out to challenge myself in new ways. If I want different results in my life, I need to do different things.

One area of my life that needed a serious kick in the butt was with exercise. I focused on exercise because of my belief of the domino effect. I know what it’s like to consistently exercise, have more energy, and feel great about myself.

When I feel great, that spreads to other areas of my life. I feel happier, more confident, more focused, and more optimistic.

So for me I wanted to first focus on my health through exercising. For too long I haven’t exercised because of the common excuse that we have which is “I don’t have any enough time.”

I got tired of using that an excuse and tired of continuously wanting to exercise.

I followed the goal created by Runner’s World magazine of running one mile a day for 40 days straight. I’m proud to say that I achieved that goal.

In this episode, I talk about the valuable lessons I learned from this experience.

If you want a better life, choose better problems to have.

Problems will always be a part of our lives. They come and they go but they never go away forever.

Don’t make the mistake of wishing that life was free of problems. It’s like wishing to have the perfect life. There is no such thing as the perfect life. There’s the good and the not so good in life.

If you think that money or love solves all problems, then you’re going to be in for a surprise. Instead what you get are a new set of better problems to deal with.

Listen to today’s episode to learn that problems are a part of life. You just have to decide what problems you want to deal with in your life. You can deal with problems about being stuck and hopeless in life or you can deal with problems while living the life you created for yourself.

I’m talking about more time to improve your health, learn, spend time meeting new people, spending time with family and friends, or working on a passion project.
