I’d like to be somebody on the move for God. But between work and kids, I am always busy and often exhausted. Seems I’m always on the move but not for God. How do I change this?

Dave mentioned people who started serving in major ways at age 30 because they were experienced enough to handle it. Is this why Jesus waited until he was 30 before going public?

I have been married to an alcoholic for many years. I’ve tried everything i can think of to help him change. Our finances are ruined and kids want nothing to do with him. How can I be a better influence on him so maybe he’ll change?

I have been “nice” my whole life. You said people like me need to find the courage to bring up things that will make people mad. How do you find courage?

If you are a nonbeliever where do you go until judgement day? Is Judgement day one time for everyone at the same time or does each person have their own judgement day at different times when they die?

Luke 6:27-30 appears to prohibit service in the military as loving your enemy and engaging your enemy in combat are not compatible. I'm sure I'm missing something here, as almost all commentaries I can find do not prohibit us from serving in the military.

I don't get it, if someone takes my shirt I give them my coat? What if they want to steal my child's coat? I can't ask for it back, let alone stop them?

How does the church stand on the war in Iran?

Jesus gave clear instruction to pray to our father in Mt 6:9. And the father, throughout the OT, demanded we pray and worship only him. Jesus demonstrated prayer and worship to the father, not himself. So how is it justified to pray to Jesus under his clear instruction given in Mt 6:9?  Hebrews 1:8 confuses the matter even more because Jesus has already died. So when God calls his own son God, who is he talking to that gave us this message?

Why don’t we recite the Lord’s prayer as Jesus commanded us to?
