Questions:

We have adult children who don’t go to church or live by Christian values.  When they are home we have conflicts over their lifestyles.  How do we bring peace to our family under these circumstances?

Our family is very busy.  Our kids have lots of school activities and sports.  My husband works long hours and is exhausted when he gets home.  We want to focus on building our family, but it seems like we don’t have either the time or energy to do what we would like to do.  Any suggestions?

In last Sunday’s sermon Perry talked about Jesus dying and going to Hell for 3 days. I always thought He was ministering to the dead there so all could have a chance to accept Christ as Savior. Or was He tormented in Hell as a guilty soul for 3 days? I know this wasn’t the main point of the sermon, but it struck me hard.

My husband is not a Christian.  I would love a deeper explanation of 1st Corinthians 7:12-14. How is the unbelieving made holy by the spouse who believes? Why would the children be unclean?

God promises that if we train up children in the way they should go, they won’t depart from it when they are older.  But I have a child who has stopped being a Christian.  He says he is agnostic.  Can you help me understand this?

My children are older and now I have very little influence in their lives.  I want them to live for Jesus and feel I’ve done a terrible job when they were going up teaching them how.  Is there anything I can do now?

Growing up we had family devotions and it always felt awkward.  We’ve never done that with our kids, and now I’m wondering if maybe we should. Any advice?
