We were supposed to record earlier this week, but both JJ and I (hey, Kev here) were sick. Tuesday, while being the worst possible day for me to record, was my only day this week, as I had other obligations the rest of the week.

Turns out, JJ did not get better, and through a series of miscommunications, I didn't realize that a show was actually recorded until this morning.

While JJ and Charley Lancaster spent their Black Friday at the Eagles game, Tyler and Kev suffered through the game in their warm homes. As the season goes on, it feels more and more like the 2023 season than anything else, and there is very little confidence (despite, after this loss, the Eagles still having a 95% chance of making the playoffs) left in a football team that seems lost.

It's Cowboys week! ... And it's pretty quiet around here, huh? Perhaps it's because the Philadelphia Union is all over the news because of their conference semi-final—oops, some front office trouble. You know what, it's probably because of the sensational offseason the Phillies are about to hav—oops, there's nothing there.

The Eagles are 8-2, and somehow everyone (not GENY) is focused on "how bad the Eagles actually are" and not one of the greatest rivalries of all time. Whether it's the game or the personalities, an Eagles/Cowboys matchup is usually a great watch. Plus, did you see Brandon Graham's hat?

The boys chat up Philly sports, and JJ & Kev talk about their Saturday of Sports (Tulane at Temple and then the Flyers game, plus the pre-game activities), before previewing Cowboys week.

I could get into what the boys discussed on the show, but why would I do that when we have this meta relationship going within the show notes, especially for the episodes that I (hey, Kev here) don't appear in. Buckle up.

Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down, and I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, I'll tell you how this episode dropped a day late.

In Lower Bucks County, sick and tired, on the big couch is where I spent most of my night. Chillin' out, coughin', head hurtin', not cool, and we watchin' some football inside on the couch. When the YouTubeTV was up to no good, started makin' trouble with Mickey Mouse. I couldn't watch the Birds, and didn't feel good. I searched and downloaded the DirectTV app. Why? It didn't matter, that game was pretty ass. I fell asleep fast, right through the big missed field goal. I woke up the next day and said, "I'm still pretty sick".

Podcast, yo, won't make it. Drinking orange juice so I can sleep it off. Is this what sick people of Bucks County feeling like? Hmm, kill me now, all right?

But wait, I hear there's still time to edit and all that. Is this something that can be done by this sick dog? I don't think so, my alternator went.

Anyway, the show is up, I don't have a car, and it feels like the Eagles are about to explode (not in a good way).
