Tash Cloak is one of the most passionate people I’ve ever met, and it was really special to have the opportunity to sit down and hear all of her story.
From the age of 17 Tash worked with her Dad in small business, as well as studying to eventually get a degree in Law. She worked very long hours, faced many challenges (as many in small business do) but loved the time in business as it was alongside her best friend, her Dad.
But in October of 2016, Tash sadly lost her Dad to suicide.
Turning her world upside down, leaving her to pick up many pieces, and of course entering her into the dark world of suicide bereavement Tash set out to find out more about her self and where she wanted to then go in life.
After many challenges, many learnings, many changes, Tash is now one of our longest serving Stay ChatTY team members. Tash contributes so much value day in and day out not only for our team, but for the communities and individuals she engages with across Tasmania.
Tash shares in detail her experience of suicide, finding herself, her path in the awareness space now, life changing Nepal trips, her experience with IVF of late, and of course Stay ChatTY Shorts Day of which Tash is the leading force of.
Tash is kind, caring, giving, passionate, smart, driven and knows how to make a difference.
Please enjoy my episode with one of the kindest people I know, Tash Cloak! Safety - This episode deals with issues surrounding mental health and suicide, which may be triggering for some listeners.
