This week we shine the celebrity spotlight on Zachary Levi! From Chuck to Shazam!, to Tangled, and even Thor. Zachary has been a part of our geeky little lives for quit some time now, and I think the pop culture world is a better place for it.  

This week we are joined by a special guest...a wonderful human being who used to live here in Northern Colorado and now resides in South Carolina, welcome Candice Coleman to the podcast! Candice was a recent contestant and...spoilers...winner on 'Nailed It!'. She talks with us a bit about the show, the guests, and how she's helping empower special needs moms.

'Nailed it' is a Netflix show, hosted by Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres, is a reality/comedy/cooking show that brings in amateur chefs from all over the county that create extravagant dishes and have their 'creations critiqued by the hosts and celebrity guests. (Candice is featured on Season 2, episode 2, "A Classic Christmess" with special guest Maya Rudoph.) 

We starter with a topic of "worst" movies of 2019, but I think the term "most disappointing" is much more apropos.

What movie let you down on the big screen this year?

This week we discuss the heroes that get way too much credit. You know that cartoon heroes who have an entire series named after them, even though said main character doesn't actually do any of the work, or the ones who are showered with fanfare for 'accidentally' saving the day.

This week we shine the celebrity spotlight on Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. A guy who has somehow become one of the most entertaining people in Hollywood.

Disney+ the new streaming service launches on November 12. I'm pretty sure we are note the only ones excited about this new service that will feature all the Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel properties. But is this additional streaming service going to be a good thing or a bad thing for streaming overall? We discuss? 

With the recent release of the final trailer for Star Wars: Episode 9...we take a few minutes to talk about what Star Wars means to us. It's been a part of pop culture, a part of life, since before we were even born. And I don't think we'll be the only ones shedding a tear or two when those big yellow letters crawl up the screen during the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga.
