This is Cecilia's story. She shares how generational trauma affected her life. Her grandmother was taken from her reservation and forced to live in a catholic boarding school. Cecelia had to be a generational cycle breaker to heal her family. She shares a lot of experience, strength and hope. I hope everyone is as touched by her story as I am. 

We were all feeling very triggered today with the things going on in America. We discuss our feelings and thoughts in regards to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe V. Wade, racism, baby blood, serial killers; but we ended on a good note. 

Quinn is an immigrant from France. He moved to the United States when he was a young boy with his mother. He experienced some trauma during his childhood and this caused him to have a Heroine addiction. Quinn learned through psychedelics, meditation and his own spiritual practices that his childhood trauma was the root cause of his active addiction. Listen to Quinn's story as he provides his experience, strength and hope against the war on drugs. 

Tonight, Diamond covers trauma informed care. She is certified to educate people in this & she is extremely passionate about it. We also discuss ACEs (adverse childhood experiences), a blind reaction to a YouTube video named "Removed" (link below) and briefly discuss the movie, "13th Step", which you can watch for free on tubi (link below). The YouTube video "Removed Part 1 & 2" provides a heart-wrenching example of what children (like me) with high ACEs score go though on a daily basis. In this episode we will be discussing tone-policing and how it affects the relationship between parties. This can be especially taxing on people who have been oppressed either through race, sexual trauma, generational trauma and many other unfortunate scenarios. Diamond & Cassy both taught me a lot. As a white woman who grew up in a rural, Florida town, I never heard perspectives from bi-racial women. I appreciate and applaud the courage it takes for anyone to speak their truth.
