Good but description is misleading

I don't want this to sound negative, because I did enjoy it and found the information very interesting. But the description is misleading. It says, "uncovering the hidden world of the knights templar" well, I don't recall him mentioning the knights at all. If he did I missed it. It is all about the Rosslyn Capel.

I did not notice the length until after I downloaded it. It is less then an hour long. I would call this a speech more then a book. It reminded me of an interveiw, but where the person would be asking a question there was music. Music, then he would talk, starting with "I think.." Like they took the audio from an interview and took out the host.

I do think he did a good job narrating. I enjoyed his voice and liked the information.

Not worth a credit

Music is the main item in this collection of random thoughts, nothing proved, hard to follow and understand. If this was published in print it would be a page and 1/2 of bad grammar, no paragraphs

and not one complete idea.

Misleading summary

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

From the summary I assumed this was based on fact/history and found that there was very little of a factual nature about Rosslyn incorporated in the text.

Frequently pitted with 'I think' rather than historical facts and full of conjecture.

One book I would not tell or speak to anyone about, its way off the truth of the chapel not even close to the history. Not even close to why it was built, His ideas of the History of the chapel's build is very wrong.

This is a total waste. The narration sounds like someone reading a basic term paper on general Ufology. Add to that the fact there are huge gaps of no narration filled by really bad techno music. Oh, also that terrible techno runs throughout the entire "audiobook."

This movie was much more than I expected. I was expecting to see a crazy guy traveling the world, looking everywhere for the "former" worlds #1 terrorist.

But besides that, the movie also shows a real-world view of Americans. Americans are lead to believe that Muslims are evil and Israelis are Americas best friend, but as you can see in this movie, that's not always true!

Just because the news, or government tells you one thing, don't believe it 100%, discover the truth for yourself, and you might be amazed to realize that the world isn't quite as bad as it seems. Yes, there are some bad people, but most of the people in this world are very kind and welcoming.

Funny, Facinating Documentary

Okay, I'll start with listing my prejudice: I think Morgan Spurlock is a genuis. I like everything I've seen from him, including "Sper-Size Me," "30 days" and "What Would Jesus Buy?" He is funny, but educational at the same time.

This book documents his search for Osama Bin Laden, the supposed most wanted man on earth. Through interviews in many different countries, he documents what people believe about jihad - from Muslims of differing varieties, as well as others. He uncovers both truth and lies. He visits people in their homes, oftening sharing meals with them at their insistence.

Morgan Spurlock, the genuis (no, this is NOT being written by his mother or other relative,) does his best to entertwine his personal story of his sometimes dangerous and always thrilling travels, with the views of people from many different backgrounds - people that do and do not believe in the War on Terror. His interviews include those that hate bin Laden and want him dead to those who think bin Laden is just about the best person who ever lived. Spurlock's own opinions are buried so that the results of the interviews are what gets presented.

This book asks whether or not there really is an American campaign to capture bin Laden and bring him to "justice." What would it mean if he ever was arrested? Would it make any difference in the world? Would it make us safer? He also examines the War on Terror by visiting the countries and the people involved on both sides - civillian and military.

Good info bad audio lectures w/power ...

Looked forward to a good lecture, and it would have been except for the most captivating scientific data was apparently in a power point of photo's shown during the lecture. The audio was bad couldn't hear the questions heard small talk static from audience members so I felt as if I bought this to be an outsider peering in the windows and putting my ear on the glass and not getting the full impact of the info.

If they are to do lectures they must do better than just audio tape the lecture with no kind of background for the audio scene.

Evidence of aliens if we can figure it out

The implanted objected with their coating that the author has himself removed and photographed are impressive in many ways. How should they be examined? The situaation suggests to me a similar problem to someone in the 1800s coming upon a transistor radio. There would be no examination that earth scientists could do that would help the prople of that time to understand what had been found. The author mentions many advanced methods of imaging the items but does not tell us of continuing avenues of inquiry. Of course for identifying the transistor radio you have to invent the radio and then the transistor before the transistor radio could be identified. So are there clues somewhere as to what has to be invented? This work is a place to start looking.

The Music is Great......

But the text is much too weak. The narrator reminds me of someone reading a song in the late 60s/early 70s about Atlantis. A beatuiful voice but not much to say.

I've listened to this 3 times and I still can't tell you what its about. I get lost in the music and the soothing voice.
