ITS CUTE MORE YA THAN I LIKE

It's a cute story not one I would listen to over and over but enjoyable enough to get a good review. This is more young adult than I want right now. Narration was excellent.

The most memorable moment for me would be when when Beck gets on stage to sing at a party to his nerdy BFF.

Have you listened to any of Andi Arndt and Cooper North s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm a huge Andi Arndt fan and funnily enough - I bought the book based on the description and was happily surprised to hear her as a narrator. She's always amazing and I love how versatile her voice is. This was my first Cooper North book and he also did great! He too had a versatile voice. They both put emotion into the characters and did a great job.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Subtle Chemistry or the Chemistry of Love. Something with Chemistry since they were both all about chemistry both figuratively and literally.

Amazing!!! Reminds me of Sincerely Carter in a way. Bffs turned lovers. Well written with tons of detail and feelings (more R rated with the steamy scenes - not too much detail there but its cute). Beck was the college hockey star. And Lila was the nerdy chemist major. Lila was tired of being called boring, plan and one guy called her ugly in earshot of herself. while her BFF Beck thought she was amazing as is and a great friend. He agreed to help his frumpy friend with the great personality (yet nerdy). He didnt see her in a sexual way and thought it would be easy - but he was wrong. Chemistry from their friendship began to heat up with her new looks. Beck started to see her in a new light and got jealous of other guys attempts to be with her. The story takes an unexpected turn when he agrees to help her with one of her college bucket list items. This book was amazing and well worth the read. Enjoy!

Fun, sexy NA!

Some NA is overly angsty and whiny, but never Cindi Madsen. This was fun, funny, and sexy! Lyla is so endearing and sweet. She and Beck are adorable together and I cheered for them the whole way through.

Grey's superb writing merges flawlessly with Tremblay's voice and the finished product is no less than amazing. I really fell in love with these two guys all over again listening to their story. Descriptives and voices add a whole new level to story.

When Trevor sees James across the crowded room at a local bar, sparks fly. The self professed mans man that will never settle down, will spend his life fucking around with any guy lucky enough to be given his attention, finds a guy that is immune to all his charms. It's a foreign concept for Trevor when the beautiful man rebuffs his attention.

James has been blind since he was a child, but he can still see people. Their intentions, personality and attitude don't require eyes to define. James is anything but interested in Trevor. From the start, Trevor has to work hard for James to pay attention. And for the first time in a very long time, Trevor enjoys getting to know another man, dating, courting and growing quite attached to the blind man that seems to have staked a claim on the serial dater, without even trying.

I really enjoy stories where the Author does their homework, where the disability of a character is explored and well explained but it also doesn't define them. Grey has an uncanny ability to create beautifully broken and flawed characters, give them depth and meaning and bring their stories full circle by the end. I loved the slow burn with these two characters. There was no rush, no insta-love, just a genuine interest and old fashioned to some extent version of courting. Trevor had to prove himself to James, prove he would stick around no matter how hard things became.

Could not put it down!

I enjoyed this book so much! It is so exciting and romantic! I can't wait to read the next one!

Great addition to Montana Rescue Series

4 1/2 stars. A Matter of Trust is an excellent addition to this series. I just loved Gage, but struggled some to connect with Ella and her past actions. Gage has a heart so obviously that of a sacrificial hero and, in his relationship with Ella, finds an even greater depth of love and forgiveness -- as well as learning to accept the true measure of his own forgiveness. Ella continues to be drawn to Gage and wants a future with him, but I often felt that she still weighed her own risks above her commitment to him.

I was really glad to have some hope shed for a potential resolution for Pete and Jess in the near future and, of course, it seems that Ian and Sierra may finally have their story told and their obvious feelings for each other brought to a long awaited conclusion.

This book ended with a question as to where Brette is and why she suddenly disappeared from the hospital. Ty is shocked and hurt and yet, as the story ends, he begins to wonder if there is a connection between her and a former roommate. We, as readers, also have been given hints as to some brutality that was in Brette's past relationship.

So I am definitely looking forward to the next release in this Montana Rescue series.

The narration was good but just seemed a little inconsistent with the voices of the various characters and with the sound of the local Montana "dialect."

Worth the wait!

I always love reading Susan May Warren's books but this one was especially good! Left me looking forward to the next one!

Seeing under the surface and learning to trust.

Communication is an important thing. Gauge and Ella meet again under a cloud of distrust. I felt like I knew these characters from the very beginning.

Fascinating story!

This audiobook deals with a disillusioned rich man and a optimistic blind woman. They have a relationship that is both sweet and sexy, and when he arranges something he thinks is for her benefit it backfires on him. There is a happy ending however. He's just fascinated by her, which I see as an integral part of the story. The narration was very good.

Wonderful Book

This is an amazing story. I really enjoyed reading it but listening to the book brought a higher level of enjoyment for me.

So Jack and Tess aye? Well I didn't see that coming from the previous three books in this awesome series about the four powerful friends that make up the Las Vegas Bad Boys who, once they meet their soul-mates, go above and beyond to claim, protect and get their women. The Narrator - Douglas Berger - had an amazing voice that sounded very Bradley Cooperish in "American Sniper". I was hooked. The book was well written and the characters had dimension so their humor and banter came through in his narration. The Military tech side seemed solid and the men seemed believable in their work. This is what a Romantic Suspense should feel like. Loads of action, romance and thrills. Great Alpha men and feisty women. It plot felt little far fetched at times but that wasn't a deal breaker as it added to its rollercoaster fun and made it seem a little like an Indy Jones movie. Great entertainment.

The story was intense with just the right amount of suspense to keep me guessing. The beginning was a little slow for me, but once it picked up, I was hooked. This is definitely a story I will strongly recommend, and an author I will be following in the future.

Loved the story, not the narration

Loved this story! I loved it so much that I bought the rest of the series and did a binge read. You know, where you read one book after another until they entire series is finished. I loved the detail and the characters. I felt as though I was in the book and was hooked. The narration however, meh. There were some points that her voice just plain irritated me. BUT, the story was so good that I wanted to finish it. I didn't want to quit, I wanted to listen and tried to find reasons to get in my car so that the story would go on.

BDSM Murder Mystery??? Yes, please!!!

The narrator was great as Kristin, though the bass she used for men was a bit forced.

Overall, I highly recommend this book!!!

The plot was a great driving force, though what really made this book sing were the steamy scenes between Kristin and Devon!!!

Unlike some other popular BDSM Romances out there, this book emphasized the motto of Safe/Sane/Consentual, which was truly refreshing!!!

I can't wait to listen to Book 2!!!

Great Series

I read this book a while ago before I started my blog and I am now slowly going back to review books. I never actually realized how important and useful they are to the authors. On top of that, if I love a book, I want someone else to know how much I enjoyed it. So without going into to details of the book, I am writing to let you know this is an amazing series by Addison Moore. She has without a doubt become one of my favorite authors. She writes multiple genres and always keeps me wanting more. Even when there are currently many books to a series. Each book is tied together by the setting and characters. So even after one story is finished, you will most likely see the main characters again. The best part about this series is they can be read as standalones! That means ... no cliff hangers! Yay!

Honestly just go out and purchase the book. It is well worth it and you will thoroughly enjoy it!

Hahaha! Addison Moore is freaking fantastic!

This is the third book I have read in the series and I have to tell you that the wording is off the charts!

She has been fascinating with her writing so far with the ones I have read but this one? It is beyond anything I have ever read or tried to imagine!

Roxy has had enough with guy...actually, with love period. Life has been nothing but disappointments on repeat and now that her bf has broken up with her she is convinced that she wasn't meant to be happy.

Cole. The guy has more action than a dance club on a Saturday night with half priced drinks! Unfortunately it has become boring, useless,and now that he has gotten a good look at his new roommate no one else is worth his time.

Everyone is worried for Roxy now because with Cole's playboy ways, no one thinks he can be trusted. Roxy can't help but feel those same doubts as well. It isn't totally because of what everyone else is saying. Roxy is certain that she isn't good enough to hold on to Cole. Since her ex wasn't anywhere near as hot & sweet as Cole is, why wouldn't she think any different?

Love this series, get all at once!

So far this has been a fine read.
