Do you like fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden? Do you like to share?
The author,Leela Hope, has written another wonderful story about a new friend Jarod Giraffe. Jarod was a very helpful young giraffe, and helped his dad. He mowed the lawn, he helped his dad in the garden. Now in the garden Jarod and his dad grew some wonderfully looking fruits and veggies. The lawn and the garden in Jarodâs home were the best looking. One day Jarodâs dad discovered the6 had too many fruits and veggies. When you read this book, you will understand exactly what happens.
Adults will enjoy reading this book to their children. The children will enjoy the storyline and the surprise. The illustrations by Leela Hope are bright, vivid and colorful. They depict all of the adventures of Jarod and his dad and their neighbors. The children will understand the lessons to be learned in this book. They are lessons that will not be forgotten. The book is written in rhyme which is one of the best ways to read a story.

A precious lesson that many kids will enjoy and use in their lives
I'd love to have a child like Jarod the Giraffe to water my garden, mow my lawn, trim the bushes, pick apples and other foods from the garden and orchard. But if there's too much food, what do you do? Here's a loving lesson for children illustrated by a colorful and smiley giraffe!
But occasionally there are problems with the verse, the rhythm is off and a few times the meaning of the lines doesn't come through clearly.
Jarod Giraffe picked
Peas and tomatoes.
His dad a spade
And dug up potatoes.
But I'm sure children, especially the younger ones, will enjoy this book

Awesome kid's book! A few great stories for bedtime. No better way to get a little extra bonding time with your kids. I know I loved it when I was a kid. I feel like you can't ever have too many books, this is cute story that make a great addition. Your kids will have to use their imaginations, because this only has one picture per story.

A very attractive children's book. The colorful and wonderful presentation added flavor to its totality. Simply written yet gives us huge lessons in life. One is learning to share. Two is giving to the less fortunate ones, paving the way to highlighting the value of being generous. Love reading this to my kids.

I enjoyed this short but very important moral in it as well as the illustrations and easy to read font .Therefore I wish to rate this for five stars as well as recommend this for 2-6 year Olds and or in grades P-2.
