When you grow up on a large farm, you are exposed to the motorsports industry at a young age. This is the case for Pro Hill Climber Keith Bailey. Growing up on the farm gave Keith the opportunity at a young age to ride ATVs, Snowmobiles, and Dirt Bikes. His story starts at a young age, but his life as a pro does not happen till later in life. Growing up with a hardworking father that had a passion for riding sleds and doing whatever he could to squeeze out more power and offset the power to weight ratio, Keith was exposed to great possibilities that would assist in his future riding career. Keith shares how he takes his business skills he learns running a business with his father and applies them to his hill climb racing. He explains how the average rider can become sponsored, a professional, and make it to the top of the hill. Instead of paying an individual to work on your machine, being concerned if that individual is treating it with the respect and love you expect, you do all of the work yourself using specialty tools that may just be out of your budget for that year! Jason Clark (owner), Jake Hardee (co-owner/shop manager), and Alex Zinaich (teacher/coach/mechanic)  come together to open and operate this one of a kind community shop. All three of these guys have years of experience helping others with their own bikes in the street bike racing industry. In this episode they guide the listener through their idea of how a community shop is ran and how they spend their days helping others learn more about their own machines. This idea may not be new to some but it is precedent in Utah and is making a difference with the community. These guys are focused on the industry. Kyle Brothersen has done just that with his YouTube channel Dirt Bike Channel. Kyle invited me to his home and we sat in his office next to his computer where he makes it all happen. Kyle was born to ride, but he just did not know it until he was a little bit older. He guides us through his childhood and how he was first introduced to four wheelers which at the time he considered the rival dirt bike not quite a fitting machine for himself. As he grew and was introduced through friends to the 2 wheeled dirt machines, Kyle has proven to himself that he belongs in the industry and has taken the role of helping others seek their passion in the industry. Kyle does not only make YouTube videos, but he also teaches courses on riding, gives gear away, rides amazing off-road country, and GIVES DIRT BIKES AWAY!
