FROSTY AND FRIENDS
Charming book including five short stories or chapters featuring the Frosty the Snowman character. Frosty lands on the lawn of siblings, Jessica, Lauren and Eric. When Santa leaves him a magic hat for Christmas, he comes to life to interact with his human friends. They want Frosty to be happy, so in the following tales, they create for him a family, a home, and wonderful community experiences. Every year Frosty and his human friends grow closer.
This well written book might be considered an early chapter book or a series of short stories. There is a charming illustration at the beginning of each. As a bonus, the author includes a list of Christmas jokes for the reader to enjoy and a free download, Itâs Okay To Be Different. Targeted for ages three to nine, I think it serves as a great early chapter book or read aloud for adults and siblings to share. Get into the holiday spirit with this one!

I'm Not Familiar With the Original Frosty Tale, But I Quite Enjoyed Arnie's Lightnings Tales About the Friendly Winter Creature
I'm not familiar at all with the original Frosty the Snowman tale, I've heard the song but that's it, so I'm not sure how much of Arnie Lightning's tales involving the creature (and his wife and kids in the sequel stories also included), are original or if it is just a retelling. Either way they are a couple of nice pleasant short stories, which I really enjoyed. They cover how Frosty came to exist, the family he interacts with each Winter, how he gets a wife and kids, contributes to his local community events, and things like that. There's also a couple of pages of question and answer sentence jokes after the stories, similar to his other joke collections if you've downloaded any of them. None of the jokes are original, and you've likely heard them before, but they may be fresh for a child's ears and they are all clean and good enough to endure a child repeating them over and over again to everyone they encounter.
The stories and joke pages have ClipArt style computer illustrations appearing every now and then. They don't always match the story though would be my only criticism. I could see this book being published as a hard copy book if Lightning could find an original illustrator to team up with.

My brother loved this book and since it came with jokes he laughed and laughed! In my opinion this is a great book! P.S The Tarzan joke was the funniest & the Scruge one!
